Enjoyed your last update. Can't wait to see how your dinosaur ride went!
The Finding Nemo show holds no interest for me even though I haven't seen it yet. DH wants to make sure we see the Lion King show though.
I do not like Primeval Whirl. The jerkiness of the ride hurts my neck. So does the Dinosaur ride. And EE, and...I guess I'm just getting to old for rides.![]()
Sweet Minerva, I'm at DW for a week (OK, it's been like 10-11 days since I read your thread), and there have been like 15 pages added!!!
It took me a couple of hours of reading (and eating dinner and getting my son dinner and getting my son to take a bath and getting my son to bed and taking my wife's dog out) to read it all!
OK, looking good so far.
Glad to hear your mom is doing OK, Lisa.
Love your update. You do know that Mrs Huxtable's first name is claire? LOL! Just thought I'd throw that one in.
I also thought I would throw in a few pics of Lick-a-buses I took in August when we went to the Fort Waynes Childrens zoo. claire got to feed one. She wasa very fascinated by that.

It only took me 4 days, and a lot of chatter skipping in between, but I finally caught up!
Not really any comments as normal, just not that talkative a guy, but I do hope that mama is still doing well and things are going much better for you this week.
Also, have to comment on Lacey's eyes in the pre-ITtbAB pic, they look amazing there (the goofy face one).
Everything else looks great, even the "not so great" pictures really help tell the story.
As far as AK and heat. Yes. We were there last Tuesday and could only spent half the day. I had let the girls sleep in until 9:30ish and we didn't get there until 11 or so, but by 4:30 we were exhausted, irritated, and just plain ready to head out. It's amazing at the amount of stuff we missed though (more excuse for next trip!).
At least next time, we're planning a Feb trip, so that should make temps a bit easier to deal with and we should be able to see considerably more (Emily will be just about 4 by then too, so much less lugging of stuff around).
Hope the rest of the day goes well with everyone here (there's a reason that Lisa's TRs are great, and it's not just her)
Don't ask where I've been that I missed your update yesterday. I really have no excuse. I'm a bad dissister.
I love Chester's and Hester's for one reason. Can you say Air Conditioning? After standing out in that heat it is a real haven. There were 4 people on ECV's while we were there. All of them trying to block the door so they could feel some cool air. Everyone had to walk around and use the other door. I felt sorry for them but around the corner was a real nice shady spot that was way better. No cool air but no sun either.
Have a good rest of your day
Ginny
Finally caught up! First, I'm so glad your Mom is doing well. That is wonderful news. Your TR continues to be absolutely wonderful! It's so much fun to read it!!
I'm also excited about the Give a Day, Get a Disney Day promotion for next year. I already made a calendar reminder for myself for January 1 or 2 to check on what organizations are on the "approved" list in our area so we can find something we can do as a family. DH and our girls will be out of school for a week in February, so I can take a day off and we can all go do something great for our community together. I'm still planning to talk DH into going to MVMCP next year but it was just going to be a quick weekend trip since he can't take any time off during basketball season (he's a coach), so this way the girls and I can go down and go to the party on a Friday night, DH can drive down after school/practice, and we can all have a park day together on Saturday and come home on Sunday. A quick trip, but it's still a trip to WDW!!
Hi Lisa! Great updates! I can't take a day off from your TR..I miss way too much!
Sorry about the Nemo show. I had the same fears about not knowing who to look at too, but I figured out that I watched both equally. I loved that the actors were able to get across the emotions on their own faces as well as with the puppets. To each their own I guess!
MMMMM...Mickey bars!If it wasn't so darn cold up here I would want one now!!
We rode PW for the first time this trip. I was disappointed that it didn't spin more! I did like it though...except my old body didn't like all the jerking! LOL!
We loved that gift shop. My boys did some pin trading with a very cool CM there.![]()
Please forgive me for my absence. Life just keep intruding on my DIS time, darnit! Sorry
Great updates (as usual)!
Wonderful pictures of the ToL - we soooo have to pay more attention to that next time! Interestingly, the Nemo show wasn't even on my plan at all - which is odd because we, too, love the movieWhat's up with that? Maybe it's a Lisa thing
You know, I didn't ride PW because I was afraid of the spinning (I am SO NOT a spin-friendly girl lol), but now I'm thinking about it for next time due to your description... Your cold treats sound delicious (particularly the pineapple bar!). Yeah, so what is Mrs. Huxtable doing there, anyway?!
Your boss really needs to step away from interrupting this TR - doesn't he know you have many readers who love your report?!![]()
Lisa - your detailed write up on CBR that you posted to Connie's PTR is great! Thank you for sharing it!!!![]()
Good Morning, Lisa! Happy Friday!!!!![]()
Good morning Lisa. Have a great weekend. Is your mom doing better?
I posted a little tribute to Austins birthday yesterday. I don't know if you made it over or not.
Ginny
Welcome home! So when can we expect a trip report? You know good and well, we want to read all about it.
Mama is doing better. Still has a little dizziness now and then. Thanks for asking.
