Stop Making Me Laugh Or I'll Pee My Pants! Go Back! I Lost My Shoe! Trip Report!

Sheri played saxaphone in band. They were short on sax's in the high school band when she was in middle school so from 7th grade on she played high school band. She also played bagpipe in the drum and bugle corps. Sandi played drum in band and violal in orchestra. Willard schools don't have strings. Neither does Alex's school. Tim was in the band in Ark. but I don't remember what he played. He is very musical as is Sandi. Of course Alex doesn't pick up on those traits. If he isn't we'll just tell him he takes after his grandma. (he does know he is adopted tho). He is always looking for things that are the same way we all do things. Pretty sweet.

Our tummies full from the great food at T-Rex, we paid the bill and were ready to head back to the World of Disney Store for one more "look see" before going back to our resort. We only had a little while to look around because everything was closing at 11:00 p.m.

I took a few pictures of the things in the store:

I was trying to take a picture of this display of snacks which were all included in the dining plan. John walked right into the picture:

Hunter told his Daddy that he wanted to go to the Once Upon A Toy store so Lacey and I told them to go ahead of us. They had to hurry because everything was about to close for the night.

Lacey and I took our time walking to meet up with John and Hunter. We found them sitting outside. The castmembers were closing up the store just as they got there. Oh well, we knew we'd be back to Downtown Disney another day so Hunter wasn't too bummed.

We walked towards the bathroom before waiting on the bus to arrive. We, of course, had to stop and take some pictures. I told you my kids loved to "strike a pose":

Once we had our bathroom break, we walked towards the bus stop pathway and I remembered the Christmas setting. I had to take some pictures of the kids. This is Lacey doing her "Senior portrait pose":

Pictures taken, we went to the CBR bus stop. I hate the bus stops at Downtown Disney. They are so confusing. You have to walk through the other resorts' stops to get to the CBR bus stop. There are times when you have to walk in the street which I don't feel comfortable doing. It's not just the CBR stop, it's almost all of them. Anyway, we didn't have to wait long for a bus to arrive. We made a stop at the Pleasure Island bus stop and were on our way back to the resort.

We got off at the Martinique bus stop and were talking and laughing and just generally being goofy when we realized we had no idea where Martinique 26 was. Lacey and John said we needed to go to the right. I said we needed to go to the left. Hunter didn't care. He just stood there and waited for somebody to tell him which was to go.

Of course, we got tickled because we were just wandering around the parking lot like a bunch of chickens with our heads cut off. Had anyone seen us, they would have probably thought we were looney. (And they would have been right on the money.) I started straight ahead and told them to just let me find the beach and I could get us to our room. John said something funny which led to another "stop making me laugh or I'll pee my pants" moment.

I finally found the beach and our room was just one building down to the left. See I was right! If it had been a snake it would have bit us. We found this bird resting in the landscaping:

Room found, we all went in and threw ourselves on the bed. It had been a long and stressful day which ended on an extremely good note. Lacey said she was going down to the beach for a minute to call her Mission friends. By the time she got back, we had all gotten ready for bed. I placed a wake up call for 6:45 a.m. because tomorrow was our first day in the parks. Epcot, here we come!

I know. Isn't that the sweetest thing. He just loves it when someone would say how much he looks like his dad or his cousins (of which I think he does too).

I'm so excited. Epcot. I love it there. I've been waiting to get out of my suitcase. I can't believe you didn't find me when you unpacked.

Fun update!! Hunter had the right idea; just wait and come back and get me when you find the room! Love the pics w/tigger & pooh and the Christmas shots. I wanted to get Ashton w/them for our family Christmas card but it started storming when we found them!

Your kids are so great. Love the pictures. Sorry Once Upon A Toy was closed. Hunter had a great attitude about it though.

Great updates! I had to cancel my T-rex last trip because we were running out of money, and it wasn't on the dining plan I was super sad about it and loved your pictures. Maybe next time! Can't wait to hear how the first day at Epcot goes!

I have issues with direction myself. That's why when we are traveling, I try to find a gas station or fast food restaurant that's on the right side of the road. It's so much easier than going over the interstate/highway and then finding my way back. I usually have to ask John which was is the way back.

I thought that large suitcase kept moving around the room. It was you all the time.

We have pictures of the kids with the Christmas setting from years back.

I meant to tell you earlier that we got Ashton's colorings yesterday in the mail. I am going to take them to my office and put them on the wall. That way, I can look at them during the day.

Every time I post a picture of my kids, they have some sort of pose. Believe me when I tell you that my kids aren't those stuck on themselves kind of kids. They just like acting silly in front of the camera. Wonder where they get that from.....maybe their daddy.

Thanks! I knew that we were going to be eating at T-Rex so I had already taken that money out of our souvenier money. I so with it was on the dining plan. We will stick to just the restaurants on the dining plan for our 2010 trip.
