If it makes you feel better Lisa I have a nearly identical photo of me getting of my tube on crusher gusher in the most un ladylike way! And I do actually look like a beached wale (it didn't help that I was sticking my tummy out to try and wiggle over the edge, or that my suit was black with big white inserts under the arms, killer whale style! That and my dbff is the size of a twig!)

I also took a displosable water proof cammera on water park day last year, the pics were some of the best of the whole trip! Definatkeu get them developed asap Lisa!

P.s. Your cbr pics are getting me so excited
for my trip in 4 and a half weeks!

Great updates!! It looked like you guys had so much fun at TL!! The boys have been begging to go to a waterpark next trip but honestly I haven't been too excited until.....I saw your pictures. The slides look soooo fun!!

More great pictures at CBR!! It looks like such a beautiful resort!! But, boy those are some very dark clouds....I hope the rain held out for you!!

Don't you just love it when people give wierd looks at you? I love it. It makes me want to reach out and touch someone, HARD. People just need to mind their own business. You are at Disney - you are having a good time - laughing is good. What's so strange about that????

The water parks look great! We thought about doing them this time, but we just don't seem to have enough time to fit them in!!! I think it'd be fun, but who knows? There is a chance that we might head down a day or two before everyone else in June, and if we do this would be a cheaper option than buying park tickets...hmmm...thanks for the idea!!

Great update - can't wait to hear about Cirque. My mom and aunt are going to see it while we're down there this time.

I have not told my parents, yet...mainly cause I don't know what's up...

but, I'm so happy that she will be going along...a little Disney magic for momma too!

I'm excited too. She hasn't been to Disney since Thanksgiving, 2000.

I fear the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon. We went when I was...12? I can't remember. Anyway, I was out bobbing in the waves and went to jump to keep my head above a semi-large one, and when I came back down I landed funny and scraped my foot on the bottom of the pool. I went to my mom and sure enough, I had a nice little bloody spot. Now here comes the creepy part. I had one large circular gash directly between my littlest and second littlest toe. Connected to it on either side were two smaller circles. That's ride. I was bleeding a hidden Mickey. I kinda wanted to take a picture of it, but Mom suggested we get to First Aid. The guy was really friendly, and he commented on the pattern too. I actually have a scar from it, but it's just the one circle.

I LOVE renting boats. My dad and I are always renting the Sea Raycers/Water Mice. We love to go out and find waves to hit and bounce. We actually got in trouble one time because we were jumping the wake of a ferry boat, and they got on the loudspeaker and told us to stop and back off. I told Dad we should keep doing it, because I wanted to see what would happen. He said it's not like they could jump off the boat to get us. Ever the rebels, as Mom says. We did stop though, we didn't want to be banned from boat rental.

I am sure that your pictures isn't quite as bad as you described it. It's just amazing what the PhotoPass photographers can capture isn't it.


I wish I was heading to the CBR in 4 and a half weeks. I've got over 4 months to go.

I don't remember seeing it there last year but it could have been. I was shocked to see it there...thus, I took a lot of pictures to prove it.

We really enjoyed Typhoon Lagoon. There are lots of things for the kids to do too which makes it all the more appealing to us.

The rain held off for us thank goodness!

SNOW DAY


Good afternoon Lisa. Hope all is well with you. I have done absolutely nothing all day long. Don should be home in and hour and 1/2 and I'm still in my pj's. It is super cold here. Wind chill like -22. We only got 2 more inches of snow. They said the roads were clear this afternoon. The Dr. didn't want to get out in the cold. Fine by me.

When Lacey and John start their silliness, Hunter jumps on board and there's no stopping them. They really are fun people to be around.

We never get loud or get in people's way or anything like that so I don't see why people think we deserve the crazy looks. Oh well, it doesn't stop us.

The weather isn't too bad. It's really cold for Louisiana though. I think our high is 32 today and it's supposed to drop down in the teens tonight.

We usually try to work in at least a day and a half where we have nothing planned. That way, we can either go to a water park, Downtown Disney or just relax at the resort. Back when we went to Disney for just a week, I didn't want to take time out to go to the water parks.

I've heard a lot of people say they've gotten scraped up in the wave pool. But, I've never heard of a hidden Mickey shaped scrap. You couldn't have planned that if you had tried.

Where do you usually rent the sea raycers from? We thought about doing that during our upcoming trip.

I was about to p.m. you and ask where you were today. I was missing you.

I certainly don't blame you for still being in your pj's. I would be too if I was at home. I have on jeans and a sweater today because we had not clients coming in. I wanted to be as comfortable as I could be even though I was at work. Oh, and I have on Hunter's Georgia boots. He outgrew them last Winter and I inherited them. They sure do keep your feet warm.

Tell Don to be extra careful driving home. We don't want anything happening to him!

Please let me know if you think of a better Pre-Trip report name. I'll probably name it something lame and then think of something better later on.

Dana and I have a very friendly (that's what she thinks anyway) rivalry going on. I told her Mike has been glued to the TV since 11 this morning. He's afraid he'll miss the game if he moves and he can't record it cause everytime he records a game they lose. I know the family all have their shirts on and ready. I had to buy Sheri a new one.

When I post tomorrow I'll either be crying or shouting.

We usually rent them from Wilderness Lodge and cruise around Bay Lake. You can usually do pretty much a full circuit in an hour...at least, if you drive them the way we do.
