Awww I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope she feels better soon and that no one else gets it.

My dad is sick right now. We usually go over to my parent's house to watch LOST on Wednesday nights but we've already informed him that we're not coming anywhere near him till he's better!

Good news for you! Take your Airborne! I always OD on it when someone near me gets sick.

Not much new. House on market. NO viewings. I didn't believe it was really like this until we tried it. When we sold other houses in the past we were always having to leave the house for people to come see. Last night I told the troops we better have a 5 minute pick-up, we are still on the market, even though it doesn't feel like it! I'm sure someone will finally come to see it when it is all messy and the bathrooms are gross and I will be so embarassed!

Nothing new. DH is waiting to hear final word from two different ins. ***.. Both will let him cont. with the mortgage biz. One offers management but no residuals. The other offers wider range of product with great residuals and longtime big pot. earnings, but smaller earnings now. So - just waiting to see which one actually makes their final offer and then we get to decide.

I want to hear more about Angel's cake decorating. I love that idea. I want to learn the fondont (sp?) frosting.

Also Breezy, I'm doing no alcohol on Sun through Thurs so tomorrow can you get me a great big cocktail. If you think about it, but not til tomorrow!

Xena, good luck on the house! I know when we sold our house before we moved to FL it was on the market for 9 months before it sold and it was a NICE house. It may take a while, but it will happen. Just hang in there!

I'm waiting for our new washer and dryer to arrive. It's been an epic nearly three month saga for us to get these blasted things and he is supposed to deliver them within the half hour so I'm pretty excited.

Not much to report so far on the cake decorating front. I had my first class and it seems like something I will really enjoy. I have to go back to Michael's on the 8th when my coupon is valid and buy all my stuff that is required for the class. We are making a cake every week. Unlike my mom's class that she took when she was younger, we aren't just decorating cardboard cakes. Our instructor has us bringing a made cake to class every week. I'm like good Lord what am I gonna do with all of these cakes??? This week we are making a rainbow cake which of course made me think of Cat. next week is a clown cake, and then the week after that a Rose petal cake.

Not in this course. Apparently there are three or 4 courses and this is course one, so we'll be learning basic piping techniques, flowers, etc. Then as you go through the courses it gets more and more advanced.

DH already says he wants to take one to work. I'm like go for it! Get it out of my house cause I don't want to eat it!!! The frosting is a whole block of crisco with powdered sugar in it!!!

yeah... we don't have a church yet. We are having a very hard time. I grew up southern baptist. I don't necessarily have to have that but I am comfortable with. DH grew up Lutheran. COMPLETELY different. He likes the churches with the rock bands instead of chirs and all that, and I am the opposite so we're having a hard time finding something that we both like.

DH and I went from Lutheran and Presby respectively to Nondenominational Evangelical. How the heck that happened I'll never know
