Me too. I just feel sick that I supported that. I'm so glad we got her and she didn't have to live like that for long. I have been saying for so long that is was funny to me that she never seemed depressed when we got her and she seemed to love us so much at the beginning. We were expecting a depression from her while she got used to being away from her home and her mom. I guess coming to our house was nothing to be depressed about. From the first day she put her head into my neck and burrowed in as much as she could into me. I guess she was saying thanks for rescuing me!

Hi everyone. This is the first I've managed to get online since last Monday. Nothing new with me, but I did just pre-order the new Rent DVD from Amazon of the last Broadway performance. And the two-disc Twilight DVD, though that won't be out for another two months.

Here we are!!! I was looking for our thread!

I finally found ONE of my rings from Cat while unpacking. I'll have to take a picture of it later so Sun won't kill me! LOL!

I'm waiting for the delivery people to show up with our new pool table. The old one is junk so they are taking it away and replacing it with a better one.

DH and I joined the gym yesterday near our house and today we're gonna check it out for the first time. I'm pretty excited!

We got our new motorcycle and my DH wants to put 500 miles on it before he rides it to a winter rally in North Florida in a week and a half so we're gonna go out on it tomorrow ride for an hour or so and have lunch in a random rinky down town check out their main street and then head back.

Sunday we're having a superbowl party even though no one cares about either of the teams. Apparently there is an NC State player on the Cardinals so thats who we're rooting for if you wanna call it that. Mostly we're just gonna hang out and eat and play pool. I've decided to do all healthy foods this year though so we'll see how that goes. LOL!

Hi girls! How was everyone's weekend?

Mine was exhausting!

We were furniture shopping all weekend! We finally found a dining room table and a computer armoire so I'm happy. Both are being delivered this week! We also finally went sledding on Sunday. It was around 30 degrees outside so it was not too bad out.

Let's not talk about that game yesterday! Darn those Steelers! Ya know how they had 8 chances to get in the end zone at the end of the 3rd qtr? Let's just say if they did, I'd be $1100 richer. They didn't, so I didn't win anything. BUMMER! I'm still mad about it!

I hope our thread comes back to life!

We were rooting for AZ because we really didn't care about either team so we decided to root for the underdog.

I finally got a shelf to hold dvds and such for the living room but it comes unassembled so I need to go get it out of the car and try to put it together.

I joined a cake decorating class today. it starts tomorrow and I'm really excited about it!

Hello again everyone. I finally got my phone fixed, and am now able to text. I was never able to text before, and am super happy that now I can.

I'll have some time (probably) to read through the thread on Friday, but right now, I don't. I need to get the internet reconnected. It's difficult not having it, and for more then just the DIS, it's also how I pay bills and e-mail is how I stay in touch with a lot of people.

Hi girls! Just stopping to say hello. I've been watching the Bachelor and Idol so I'm having fun with evening TV. Last night the Bachelor was in Seattle. It was fun to watch them go places around here and talk to the radio show I listen to every day! Have a good one.
