I'm having one of those yesterday & today. Nothing major, just minor little annoyances, ya know............

The weather is supposed to be gorgeous here. Although, I'm heading South a little so I think it is going to be HOT!
Oh, thats right! Are you doing Six Flags there? I went when Joey was maybe - I dunno.... 3-ish. It was a nice park. A lot different then the one here.

No, we just did Six Flags here a couple of weeks ago. I had my fill for awhile. My old roomie lives down there so we are going to visit him one of the days & he'll probably have a BBQ. So, Sat we'll just be sporting our Illini gear, tailgating, going to the game. Sunday, we'll do some sight-seeing & visit with our friend. I wrote down some things to do. I guess there are a bunch of kids museums, the zoo, some farm where the booze is free
Too bad the hotel pool is indoors. Oh well........
I'm kind of regretting my grand idea of this little get away. Abby's first eye doc appt was an "eye opening" experience. This eye doc combined with the mini getaway is going to end up being as much as our Disney trip!
You only live once though right so I'm not going to stress about it and have a good time.
I'm getting crabby just thinking about it!!!!
BTW does anyone know how to get massive amounts of blood out of carpet? Don't say the rented carpet machine, that hasn't worked yet. Yeah, my day has been that exciting!

BTW run out and get a couple of quarts of peroxide. pour and blot and scrub, it will come out.

Just busy getting them ready for school here. I'm still keeping up with the thread when I can!
What did everyone do this weekend?
I brought the kids to the State Fair, DH had to work so he missed out on all the fun. That was pretty much it for me.
I did spend a lot of the weekend looking for a good security system. After the little Bass Turd that lives next door egged our cars Thursday night, we've been putting the camcorder in the window until the new security system arrives. I wish the little punk would just leave us alone but part of me wants to catch him in the act and I hope I'm home when it happens. I want to watch the police handcuffing him.
33 days until the foreclosure is done! I'd put a countdown ticker in my sig line, but people that don't read hear might think I'm just heartless about my neighbors.
I hope you catch something good on your video camera, but I hope your property and family members don't suffer any damage!
I spent the weekend on my parents farm with the kids while DH stayed back home to work. Pretty uneventful, just a nice relaxing weekend. Of course, my daughter's going to pretend to be a horse for the next couple weeks or so.
She keeps telling everyone that she's dangerous, then she snorts like a horse and kicks back her leg

Ummm, NOOOOO she isn't. We've tried to talk to her in the past and she just makes excuses and lies. Shoot, we've heard her lying to the police about where her kid was. 
Our new security system will be here this week. DH is already started on the wiring. I can't wait to catch him in the act. Muhuhuhuhahahaha!!! Maybe I should post the photos of the police handcuffing him on this site. ( I can dream, can't I?)
Got a 'fun' update if anyone is interested. I went to the mall today with my aunt and DD & DS. While we were there DH called around 12:00, he said there was a van driving by slowly with a police car behind it. On the side of the van vandals had spray painted the B word and the W word (rhymes with boar). DH just happened to be in the kitchen and saw it. The van slowed down and pointed to the house next door. DH also said the woman on the passenger side of the van had a nurse uniform on. This is relevant because the little punk's mom is an RN. The police circled the block then went back to the house. They stayed for about 20 minutes. About an hour later they came back. They are looking for the little punk and are going to arrest him.
The kid supposedly wasn't home. We're sure the mom is covering for him. If I so much as even see his shadow over there I'm going to call the cops and let them know he's home. I'm assuming they are waiting until monday to get a search warrant to go in and get him.
I'm just wondering who the person was with the vandalized van.
I also wonder if the mom put him up to it since the passenger had a nurse uniform on.Maybe they'll put them in a mother/son jail cell.
I'll be so glad when all the drama around here is over, but it is exciting to see the punk and his mother get what's coming to them.

I have another update (I hope I'm not boring all of you with my situation). DH talked to some other neighbors about the above situation. Turns out the police suspected the mom on this one. They were questioning all of the neighbors (I wasn't home at the time
Yeah, she's really approachable to talk to about her son. She probably drove him over there and bought the spray paint herself. What in the heck is wrong with people.
