Stinkeye!!! Stinkyeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stink Eye ! ! !!

Awwww Breezy good luck with all that Disney magic.

Sun those sound like awesome gifts!

Cat & DisFav, seriously, don't they know I have other fun things to do!?!?!

Yeah! I'm glad he likes his backpack! Good luck with the magic. ;)

He got some clothes....... 2 pair of PJ pants, 1 of them all superheros. I think they are funny! A Hester (Bears) jersey. A vintage looking Mickey Mouse shirt. I think that's it........ Oh, I got a real good card too. He was like did you have this especially made or something b/c it fits us to a T.

So, we are looking for hotels now b/c I think we are going to go to St. Louis this weekend. GO ILLINI! :cheer2:

Ya had me in your corner girl, until the end.

GO BUCKS!!!!

Seriously though, Go Big Ten. ;)

We're going to a football game this weekend too! UCF vs, somebody or another. UCF is DH's alma mater! The Sunday we meet up with my family!

Exxxxactly! Sheesh.

Im bored today. My mind is in Disney.... :wizard:

If you are bored, help me find a nice hotel in the St. Louis downtown area for Sunday night, 8/31. I want to spend less than $100, but I want it to be walking distance to the main attractions. Did I mention, it has to be a nice hotel with a pool. ;)

I found one for Saturday night about 12 miles away on the IL side. Need 1 closer though for Sunday.

:flower3:

OK I'm way behind here, but having 5 kids instead of 3 is killing me. (Yes I know they are 21 and 22, but they are basically like having two teens)

Why are you trying to get the Japanese girls drunk? :confused3 :lmao: :lmao:

long-duk-dong1.jpg

Because it would be fun!

:wave2:

Xena - Really disappointed that there are no good Japanese stories! You still have time though.

Cat - Thanks for the heads up on bounceback. We'll book, but who knows if we will go. Love the 45 day cancel rule!

OT - Do you guys celebrate your wedding anniversary & buy gifts? I'm all for NOT celebrating or buying gifts. DH bought me a gift & snuck it into my work bag so I got it when I got to work. We were kind of fighting last night so I don't think he wanted to acknowledge our anniversary this morning. Anyway, I didn't buy him anything b/c I really didn't think we would do gifts. Our trip to Disney is usually our gift to each other b/c it is only 1 month after our anniversary. I guess I have to get him something now. I've got an hour after work to figure it out!

We prefer to do something rather than give gifts for our anniversary. Sometimes it's just dinner, sometimes it's a vacation. Depends on $$$ and which Ann it is were are celebrating!

Happy Anniversary Grinch!

I am the complete opposite of you guys. I LOVE celebrating holidays. As far as I know though we don't plan on doing gifts for anniversaries just a nice meal out to acknoledge another year.

Cat, I'm not sure when you guys are gonna be there exactly but I have a feeling it's not gonna work out to meet up because............I HAVE A SURGERY DATE!!!

Sept. 10th. I am soooooooooooooo scared:sad1:

Don't worry, they will dope you up on some good meds afterwards and you can lay around and Dis with us for a month! We'll be here for ya girlfriend!

Is your flood gone? I saw more flooding on the news this morning.

OK I gotta go home. The Japanese girls are making Japanese dinner tonight.

That sounds fun!!!!

Yum! After I just ate frozen pizza for dinner. Yep, we were lazy. We had steaks last night, frozen Home Run Inn pizza tonight.

What is everyone doing this nice long, Labor Day weekend?

I'm lazy too, I'm just having hot dogs, and watching the new Little Mermaid movie tonight.

So the girls made us dinner last night. This has traditionally been a bit scary because they bring freeze dried fish and various other pre-packaged items with them from Japan and then they basically add water. Let's just say some have been better than others. So last night was actually really good. I'm not sure I can describe what it was, but they made three different dishes. I ate the whole thing with my chopsticks like a pro!

So last night I held up a brown thing with my chopsticks and asked then what it was, then popped it into my mouth. They said "Jellyfish". *Cough, sputter, swallow* "Jellyfish?", "Yes, Jellyfish!"

It is important to note that you would laugh so much harder if you could hear how they talk. They have high, excited voices and they sort of say everything in a sing-song way.

Then they get out their electronic English to Japanese dictionary and say, "No, mushroom!" Then they explain that they often get confused between "tree and jellyfish".

Anyone would make the same mistake, don't you think? :lmao:

Kudos to you for being able to use chopsticks. I can't use them for the life of me. Every time I've tried the food has ended up across the room. :lmao:

:rotfl: :rotfl2: Wow, I didn't even know people ate jellyfish. :lmao: The language barrier must add to the fun I'm sure.

Xena - I can't believe you ate jellyfish! I'm surprised they let them bring that on the plane!

Sounds like a very entertaining time.

You know, I would probably try jellyfish if given an oppurtunity. I'd try almost anything once.

Yeah - you guys are just as confused as I was. They told me it was jellyfish, then they retracted that and said it was a mushroom, and tried to explain to me that they get confused between jellyfish and mushrooms (or trees as they said). It was so much laughing I'm not even sure what happened. All I know is that in the end I did not eat jellyfish.

See? Mushrooms!

Guess what? We decided to buy more DVC. We are doing it by resale this time. We are waiting for Disney's ROFR right now. I'll let you know what happens.
