Stimulus Package Refund has been deposited!!!

...if your SSN ends in numbers between "00-20" and you did not receive your economic stimulus package check via direct deposit, today, don't worry.

Bank of America typcially does not process Automated Clearing House/Direct Deposits on Sunday or Monday.

If your SSNs end in digits between "00-20", you should see your check early, Tuesday morning.

Heh- good. LOL- shouldn't be happy everyone else hasn't gotten theirs that have BofA, but I am! Least I'm not alone! I checked at 4 AM since I got up to pee anyways- LOL!

This article talks about the old system the IRS used, and the new system. Depending on which system processed your return, you may or may not get your stimulus rebate faster. The new system is quicker at getting those deposited, the older system....well it's old LOL They said that you will get it by the date on the original schedule no matter what...but it may be there sooner if you are in that new system.

And don't forget, if you received a refund anticipation loan, or had your tax filing fee's deducted from your refund...you will receive a printed check in the regular mail. The article also mentions that and explains why.

Thank you for this info. According to this, mine will be mailed since I used Turbo Tax to file.

What If I Filed My Return Online Through Turbo Tax?
If you file and get your tax return through the mail, that's how you'll get your rebate check. If you chose direct deposit, your money will appear in your bank account in the coming months.

That’s not true if you're one of the people who prepared their taxes on line through the site Turbo Tax and chose to have the preparation fee taken out of your return.

When you do that, the IRS sends your refund check to Turbo Tax’s bank, they take out their share and then deposit the rest into your bank account.

If you did it that way, instead of paying for the prep fee separately with a credit card, your stimulus check will be mailed to you.

The same is true if you received a refund anticipation loan or if you split your refund between several accounts.

It's just the easiest way for the IRS to make sure there are no errors when it comes to sending you the money.

I guess I can stop checking my account:sad1: for it to be deposited today.

hmmm...ours ends in 00 and no deposit today. I use a local credit union..hopefully tomorrow!!

I have BofA. Never knew they don't do direct deposits on Mondays.

The more I think about this I guess everyone is right about BOA and Monday direct deposits - I know when payday falls on Monday I see my direct deposit pending on Saturday and that's the only time it's earlier than the paydate.

Will i be getting a paper check? I have my taxes done each year by our accountant - we get it automatically deposited, BUT he gets paid out of our refund or we get a bit less and he gets paid from the IRS?

I am antsy as well. We leave tomorrow of Disney and i was hoping to see it in the bank account before we left so I didn't have to worry about it. I am contemplating calling the IRS to see where it is. Our bank always shows pending debit and credits, so I am really wondering where it is. DH's last two are 03, so we should have received it today.

I would be surprise if the IRS tell you anything. I work for H&R block and was told by IRS to exspect it this week. Anyone who is expecting it on May 2 will get it starting today.

Yes you should receive your money direct deposited even if you pay him out of your refund. The rest of your refund was direct deposited, right?
