Still Sassy after all this time!

Bex-- the birthday party sounds fun! I believe you may need a nap afterward.::yes:: Be sure to tuck your moppish locks up into a swim cap. The chlorine would surely exacerbate your dryness!

Judi-- Glad to hear your mom enjoyed her shopping trip. Methinks you've created a monster!!

Sloppy Animal-- I will continue trying assorted symbols in my name, though I fear my husband would find this configuration most appropriate: $hannon

Hope all of you assorted & sundry mop-heads, shoppers, igloo dwellers, food spillers, puppy monitors, sunshine hoggers, and absentee sassies have a fabulous Friday!

I have Riley's conference today (yes, he plays with others well. No, he doesn't eat glue. Much.) Then we're going to surprise Reece at lunchtime with some Subway. Other than that, I'll be trying to offset the damage done to my house from having 2 boys stuck inside for 7 consecutive days.:scared:

All the Sassies are invited to the pool party of course. Unfortunately, being at a school they frown on Tequila.

Glad mom had fun shopping Judi! You both need out. Did you take your snowshoes?

Becca, what are you nuts. Moccasins, no socks :thumbsup2

PSA...do not use a PEDegg on a rough elbow. What was I thinking :faint:

The ? is Shannon, can Riley skip. Cole flunked it in kindergarten.
Painful memories, you have now given me  My child is not perfect :rotfl2:

Took Mom shopping yesterday, after her lab work. First time she's been in a store since last April. We shopped for about an hour. She's already planning next weeks outing.:thumbsup2

Awww Judi that's great that mom had a nice fun outing. Mother/daughter shopping trips every week should be fun. Just think in the summer you can add Cole to the mix too.

I have a dentist appointment today. This one will be a short and sweet visit because I'm getting a crown. It's the prep for the crown that stinks. Today he should just pop out the temp. and give me a nice new sprarkly tooth.

This egg thing is your fault, if you had never told about the magic eraser, I would have never tried the pedegg. :p

Tricia, our Queen for a Day, new crown and all.

You didn't use the grater part did you? Please tell me you used the sandpaper pads. If you did use the grater part don't tell me.:lmao: Did it work at least?

Tricia, I like the BK crown better and its much less pricey! I only have one, but I don't want anymore, not because it's painful just costly.

What is it with facebook and all these people from high school finding me?

I took my high school info off cuz there are a few people on there I'd prefer not to find me!!

What's up in Sassyland? I get to cook and clean this weekend because I agreed to have a SuperBowl party (oh darn, is the NFL going to fine me for using that name and not saying "The Big Game"??). Lucky me! All because my hubby knew my parents would invite us over to their house if we didn't invite them first and they have a small non-HD TV, and of course he didn't want to watch "The Big Game" on that TV! I'm just not into entertaining-even family. I stress about my house not being clean enough and if people will like the food. I'm just too anal about it!

Well, I chose to get my hair done instead of the eyebrows and 'stache. Sorry Bonn!e. If we put us all together we'll be one completely manicured woman since none of us are getting the full treatment . :thumbsup2 I think that sentence broke about 10 grammar rules! :rotfl:

How come I've never seen this smilie before?? :sail:

Judi you always make me laugh. I love the crown and can I get a whopper to go with that? Hold the mayo please.

Tell me about it. I need another one in March. I made the appointment today. I need to spread them out because they ain't cheap. :guilty:

Okay, Sassies, Mr. Springsteen has a new album out and I have been listening to it all afternoon. There is even a song about me (or maybe it's Tricia) called "Queen of the Supermarket". If not the Queen, I should surely qualify for Duchess since these boys keep eating and eating and eating. I could easily hold court in the supermarket!

Poor Wally the Collie has Giardia. Actually, he seems to feel fine; is is the rest of us who are disturbed and dismayed by the random diarrhea. Isn't that just what you wanted to hear this Friday afternoon? Of course it is!

Have a great day, Sassy Ladies!

Judi! The ped egg on your elbows is almost as bad as the time I shaved my arms! Which, in case you were wondering, are not even that hairy. I was 13, a shaving newbie, and thought, "Hey, why not have smooth arms?" The bad news: my arm hair sticks up in every different direction as a result of that poor choice. The good news: at least it's blond!

Angie-- I have yet to do anything to myself. Need pedi, hair cut, eyebrows done, and highlights. I guess I'll have to make up the part of the woman that no one sees. (Derriere perhaps? Fitting, isn't it?:rotfl: ) Good luck on the Party That Shalt Not Be Named For Fear Of Legal Recrimination. I love entertaining, but my house is too small!

Tricia, you and your dentist ought to be BFFs now. I hope all is well with the crown work! And I concur-- mayo must definitely be held from the whopper. I detest the stuff!

Wilma-- Oh Mylanta! Wally has intestinal distress?!?!?! Hope it clears up quickly, both for his and your carpet's sake! Are you going to watch Bruce on the aforementioned football extravaganza? I can't wait! I may download the new album on iTunes.

As for boys and their eating habits...:scared1: Where in the dickens do they put it all???

I am on MSN in the off chance Angie, Wilma, or Bonnie read this & want to chat about the meet. Or anyone else who is bored & wants to chat!!

OK, won't tell ya
NO

Want my product review on the smooth away hair thing. Walmart, $10 no unibrow or stache , but don't overdo it. The pad smells like a burnt vacuum belt. Which is how your skin feels if you use it too long, burnt. :teeth:

It makes for a great Saturday read, as well. Hope he's feeling better. And I am sorrry, I cannot do a "As seen on TV" product review to help.

Hope you found a live typer last night :surfweb: , as I don't think a dead typer would have been any fun.

Happy Saturday

Let's go swimming. Pool chlorine, free hair dye :thumbsup2

Thanks Becca :flower3:

Hey there, Sassies!! Long time, no post, right? I’m still here and hanging in there after a hiatus from posting. I got through my Dad’s birthday in December, the holidays, and the first anniversary of his death in January. Now I just have to get through the fourth anniversary of my son’s death this week and my brain can stop thinking so much about those benchmark dates.

But I have been reading of all of your antics and you girls make me smile!!!

Atlas is doing well and is grown up. He sneaks his way onto the couch when I leave for work and is still afraid of weird things (boxes, soccer balls, etc.).

I just wanted to shout out at all of you and tell you I have missed you.
I am anxious to see a pic of Wally!!!
