Still Sassy after all this time!

Thanks for the mop tip Wilma!

Angus, I can almost see your point, but we didn't get many of us all together.:guilty: I could use the one in front of the pot fountain, but then you could see what a sloppy eater Bonn!e is.

I think this is a record - I have posted three times in today!:thumbsup2 I keep missing you Sassies, though:guilty: . Angie, I love the hot weather but I don't think I could live without some rainy days. They expect so little of you:) . How are the pups? We haven't had a doggie report from you lately! I will have to bring Wally pictures to the meet since I am so lame at posting pictures.

Becca - did you ever get your hardwood floors or are you still working for them? Have your boys inherited great and useful hardware knowledge from you?

My favorite hardware word is wingnut. What about you all?

I am sorry to tell you all that I will have poorly colored hair at the meet because I can't get to the hairdresser in time for our rendezvous. Please ignore the grey stripe down the middle of my head and politely avert your eyes. I am hoping to get my eyebrows done, though, so that you will have less trouble distinguishing me from the Yeti. And, I bought a few new tops today so that I don't have to wear things with food stains ( I believe I am a messier eater than Bonnie!).:goodvibes

Hello all you sassy ladies. Wow, I'm not usually the first one here in the mornings. I hope all our northern friends haven't lost power. Stay warm!

Good Morning Tr!c!a

Have power, just lazy ;)

It's ok to be lazy. I'd want to stay under the covers as long as possible. I hope your house isn't looking like this today.

It's due to hit, but so far the snow has liked K!mmy better. That ! really slow down my typing :rotfl2:

! agree!!!!!!!!!!:lmao: ! actually forgot about it until you just posted !t. ! guess !'m not feel!ng sassy today because ! think !'ll leave !t out from now on.

ETA~T!me to wake the k!ds. Bye Jud! and stay warm!

Good morning Sassies! I'm having a hard time getting motivated this morning. I stayed up late last night painting some of our hallway and living room. I need to get it all painted because in 2 weeks my floor will be here! I'm so excited, Brian is too but he will be very sore after installing it! My part is the painting and ripping the base board to match the width in the rest of the house since the carpet is thinner than the hardwood. I may even help install it, but he has 2 guys coming to help. I love nail guns though!

Good morning, Sassies! We have another delay in school opening today, so no work for me!:cool1: However, the icy conditions outside are contributing to a stir crazy puppy so that's more work for me.

Tricia - when is Mardi Gras this year? My neighbor organizes a parade for the neighborhood for Mardi Gras (they moved here post Katrina) and BamBam is eagerly anticipating the event. He's a proud bead-wearer.

Judi - Take a lazy day - you deserve it!

Becca - Woohoo for floors! What color did you paint? Are you in the mood to paint my bathroom?

Hi Angie, Shannon, Bonnie, Kimmy, Julie, Heather (are you still out there somewhere?) and anyone else I may have missed! Have a great day, you Sassy things!

Good morning Wilma! I'm painting it a brown, not too dar and not too light. I would go darker, but Brian's eyes looked like a deer in the headlights so I went in between. He should know by now that I know what I'm talking about regarding paint colors. He always panics then decides it looks really good when its done, no vision I tell you! I'm doing the kitchen the same too since its all really open, then I'm putting a tile back splash in a really fun red I hope I can find what I want. As for your bathroom, I have 2 that need done too. I really don't like painting bathrooms!

Angus, Wilma and Shannon: A week from tomorrow!!!

Shanaynay, not sure if you watch the Bachelor, but one of the girls on there is named shannon and she did a rap song for the Bachelor and she said her gangsta name was Shanaynay. She totally copied you. Just telling you, in case you wanna do some ****-pummeling!

YAY for one week!!! And yes, I watched the so-called "rap.":rotfl2: I was embarrassed for her, and for Shanaynays everywhere. Even more so when she declared upon exiting the house "I'm going to go home, use my electric toothbrush, and french kiss my puppies.":crazy2:

Oh, and toe socks are from the devil. Researchers have proven it - toes are meant to live together! They get sad and depressed when separated from their brethren. You wouldn't want to have to put your toes on Prozac, would you?

My toes have been on anti-depressants for years. Being mangled has caused a bit of a low self-esteem issue.:sad1: They tried to seek therapy, but no psychiatrist wanted them up on their couch. Too hideous!

Good morning(or should I say afternoon).... We are to Judi status here in cleveland... we are measuring in FEET!!! Now is that a foot with sox on or not :scratchin
Oh and so much for the theory of the northern areas being spared :sad2:

Definitely feet with socks. The no-socks thing is a weird Michigan quirk. ;)

Hellooooooooooooo. Is anybody home? :confused3

Nope. No one home here.

I believe it's condoms and Prozac.... they are sounding a bit high maintenance

Condoms and Prozac on the next episode of The Real Toes of Orange County.

Hi Judi and Kimmy! :wave2:

Well, the big day has finally arrived. It's January 28th. Finally. Happy National Bubble Wrap day to all! I celebrated by popping bubble wrap wtih my students. I had both the big kind and the regular size. Good times!

I made everyone in the house pop some bubble wrap last night. It's official. My husband thinks I'm loony. (as opposed to the "zany" he's classified me as for the past 13 yrs.)

BTW, I would like to announce that I am now spelling my name like this: Bonn!e

I have decided that i am just too sassy for the traditional spelling with the letter i.

ooh! I l!key. It's like bedazzling your name with punctuation.

Most of us could be sassy right along with you.

Tr!c!a
Jud!
Ang!e
W!lma
Mel!
K!mmy

Becca and Shannon are already sassy without the ! added in. :snooty: :rotfl2:

::yes:: We don't need no steenking ! But perhaps I may add a little extra sumpin sumpin. Hmmm... Sha'nnon? S'Hannon? Shan*non? Sha*&$@#nnon?

My mop is frozen and won't ring out! Is that a hint that I should use it more often or give it more rest?

Perhaps if you gave it a little extra conditioner? That dry winter air is brutal on our mops.

Congratulations, Becca!:cool1: :cheer2: :cheer2: That's quite a bit of posting, I'd say! As for your mop, I would say that if you stop using him, he will miss his bleach fix and that could be catastrophic. Mops who have had limited contact with bleach have been known to go into mad, wiggling frenzies that are uncontrollable unless you have a specific type of dark chocolate to feed it. Just ask Bonnie.

Ooh! Good call Wilma. When my mop's roots are in need of a touch-up, I tend to get a little chocolate crazy myself. I'm thinking Becca's mop wants to be blond!

I had all kinds of grand plans in the self-maintenance department, but a combination of sick kids and snow days has thrown me off. I may show up with orangey roots, scaly feet, and caterpillar eyebrows. I may be able to squeeze in one appointment. Do my fellow vacationers have a preference as to which grooming appointment I should make?popcorn::

How exciting!! It will be worth all of the work when you're finished! Can't wait to see pics of the end result. Will Chet be jealous of all of the special attention your floors are getting?

Tricia - when is Mardi Gras this year? My neighbor organizes a parade for the neighborhood for Mardi Gras (they moved here post Katrina) and BamBam is eagerly anticipating the event. He's a proud bead-wearer.

February 24th is Mardi Gras Day but it's officially Carnival Season now so you can have your parade any time.

Thanks for the mop tip Wilma!

Angus, I can almost see your point, but we didn't get many of us all together.:guilty: I could use the one in front of the pot fountain, but then you could see what a sloppy eater Bonn!e is.

Indeed. I'm such a sloppy animal. Thank you for not posting that pic.

I think this is a record - I have posted three times in today!:thumbsup2 I keep missing you Sassies, though:guilty: . I will gladly avert my ojos from your skunk-'do, but only if you will wear your cut-on-the-bias dress and gargantuan pearls! I'm not sure it's possible to be a messier eater than me!

Sh@nnon....you need an @ symbol in your name, don'tcha think? And you're right....it IS like bedazzling our name with punctuation! As for which appointment you should make....I love orangey roots and caterpillar eyebrows. Do you plan on wearing sandals? If so, a pedi. If not, go for the eyebrows!

Bex, don't forget to post a pic of your violet hair!

Jud! and Tr!c!a! Thanks for remembering about the sassy marks! How thoughtful of you! pixiedust:

Angus: got any cheese?

Good snowy morning Sass!es!

Shannon, if my mop looked like that I fear it would be more than frozen and my floor would look like a chicken coop. Yikes!!!

Judi, how much of this crap did you get? Last weekend they told us the lake was frozen enough to deter lake effect snow, yesterday we were lucky enough to have a lake effect snow advisory and received about 4 more inches. I'm opening a ski chalet if any Sassies are interested!

This weekend is the big birthday party! We rented the school pool for Brendan, Justin and my nephew Jacob's birthday party. 50 wet obnoxious 7, 10 and 13 year olds!:rotfl2:

Good Morning Sassies! :wave2:

Becca a pool party in the middle of winter sounds like so much fun.

TGIF :cheer2:

We want to come to the swimming party too. Can we? Can we? :hyper:

Becca, never can tell how much we've got, due to the blowing and drifting issues. They say we are due for more lake effect today.

As of Jan. 21st we we're up to 161". New totals won't be in for another week or so. :rotfl:

 Tr!c!a

Took Mom shopping yesterday, after her lab work. First time she's been in a store since last April. We shopped for about an hour. She's already planning next weeks outing.:thumbsup2
