Hi Julie! I've missed you too, and hope the next few weeks go better than you hope. So sorry you're dealing with such heartache right now.

For the record, out of my love for the Sassies, I decided to make a last minute hair appt today. My toe talons are still snaggled & long, and my eyebrows are home to a number of forest creatures, but my hair looks great.

Too bad I have a better chance of running into Johnny Depp at WDW than recreating what my stylist did today. I wish I had Gumby arms to reach around the back of my head!!!

Hey there, Sassies!! Long time, no post, right? I’m still here and hanging in there after a hiatus from posting. I got through my Dad’s birthday in December, the holidays, and the first anniversary of his death in January. Now I just have to get through the fourth anniversary of my son’s death this week and my brain can stop thinking so much about those benchmark dates.

Julie I'm so sorry you are going through such hard times right now. We are here whenever you need to vent, talk, laugh or cry. I pray that the days to come will will be easy for you.

I just made a batch of homemade chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. For all the chipless fans I'm sorry they have chips in them but I've got plenty to share.

Shannon we've had this discussion on this thread before. There are a few that prefer their cookies without the decadent melty chocolate in them. I made a lot of cookies so be on the lookout because they are on their way.

Morning Sassies! You know back in the day, I could tease hair like nobody's business. On my wedding day, my hair was bigger than my dress. It was a crowning achievement.

Hey there Sassies! I will admit that I am one who likes chipless cookies, I like them with chips too, but sometimes a chipless cookie just hits the spot!

I am worn out! This weekend was nonstop work! I have most of the living room and hallway painted. The party was great fun for all, but lots of kids! Kids that liked cake a lot! I had 2 1/2 sheet cakes they supposedly feed 30-40 people, they were almost gone! They reminded me of locusts!
