still planning...a few questions for veterans

Ok, so I think I'm going to book our parkhoppers and character meal on getawaytoday. So I go there and I don't see an option for Minnie's character meal. There is one that just says "Disney character breakfast" is this it? Also, my daughter is 2, is she free to the character meal? I just see a price for 3-9 year olds. Lastly, how will I know what time we can go to that breakfast? OR, do I need to call ahead and book a time with priority seating in advance, but still order the tickets? Do I need the tickets first to do this? Lastly, how early can I call ahead for PS? I thought I read 60 days, but I also saw a post where someone recommended getting PS 180 days in advance. What's the real deal? Thanks to all!!

Get your PS 60 days in advance.

Then I would order your tickets through Getaway. You don't need the vouchers to get your PS ressie.

Your 2 year old is free.

The Disney Character Breakfast is good for Minnie & Friends at the Plaza Inn.

Now that's what I call fast and efficient service hehe. Thanks so much. I think you answered everything. Except one thing that I just thought of, is it too early to get my tickets and vouchers for 10/26-10/30? Or could I do that now and then just call for my PS stuff in august?? Thanks again!

If you click on the "MORE" button to the right of "Disney Character Breakfast" you'll see the b'fasts that are included (all but the princess b'fast, basically).

I believe that tickets will be fine if purchased now. I would contact them (and report back here so I don't have to contact them with the same question! ) and ask them how long the meal vouchers are good for.

And just to be specific, the 180 day mention is for WDW. DLR is still sane and is 60 days as Danger said.

It's not to early, but personally, I don't like to order them too far in advance just in case I change plans or need to cancel. I also like to make sure I get my preferred PS time before I get the vouchers. I believe the character meal vouchers from GAT are non-refundable, aren't they?

Good thinking about getting the PS's first. I think I may wait a bit then. Oh gosh, I hope our plans don't change or cancel haha.

I was told it is 2 months not 60 days. So If you want to eat on say Sept 10 You can call on July 10 to book your reservation. If you wait till July 12 (Which is actually 60 days from Sept 10) you might be too late!
