I can not make up my mind if I should get the dining plan. We are going for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and think it will be nice to have sit downs already paid for but I am not the type to plan. How in the world do you plan? If I wait until park hours come out won't I be too late to make ADRs?

I agree it's hard to plan in advance where you want to eat. But, regardless of whether or not you get the dining plan, you are going to want to make ADRs for the places that you really want. You can always make them and then change them when the park hours come out if you need to.

Good luck!

I agree with letsgoagainsoon. Even if you don't do DDP you need to make those reservations, especially since it is your honeymoon. You are going to want the time to sit down and have nice meals just the two of you. Just sit down with the DDP and start picking out TS restaurants that interest you. It actually is pretty easy once you get started.

I agree with the PP. With or without the DDP you need to make ADRs. I can't think of anything I 'd hate more than being on my honeymoon and having to eat CS rather than a nice sit down romantic dinner. If your plans change after park hours come out, you can try to change. But I've seen many upset and angry people turned away from restaurants because they didn't make reservations and had no place to eat but CS.

Not really. They're trying to make sure park hours are posted pretty much 3 months in advance, which is coincidentally, the ADR window. And of course, any meal outside the parks doesn't depend so much on park hours.

That aside, your best bet until hen is to draw up a list of the places you'd like to try, prioritize it especially if you want a particular place on a particular day, and call in as soon as possible for those ADRs. Once you've booked the key ones and a few others, then you can try to figure out if any of the dining plans will suit your style and choices.
