Still need info. on character DINNERS at Universal???

I thought I would have luck asking this question on the hotel disboard, but as of tonight 52 people have looked at my question but nobody has answered.
Anyway: I know all about the IOA character breakfast, but I'm sure I read that one or more of the onsite hotels have a character dinner (possibly only on the weekend???) We'll be there for a Friday-Monday stay in August and staying at the HRH, so if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciated it.

We had Popeye visit us while we ate dinner at the Islands restaurant at Royal Pacific. It wasn't something you paid extra for though.
