Still looking for car hire! It's gone up so much! Help!

Hello all,

I cant seem to get a good deal on Car Hire this year!

We are a family of three so usually go for a compact car for price reasons! Its usually a Ford Focus size which is fint for the three of us and all of our luggage :0)

This year we are flying into Miami on Friday 12th August and leave Miami on Sunday 4th September and I am struggling to find anything that compares to last year.

Last year it was £398 for the same car and duration but it was Orlando and not Miami.

This year the cheapest I can find is £603 plus 3% Quidco cash back.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of something closer to last years price please?

My budget was £500 but I cant find anything close :0(

Thank you, I actually checked and it was an intermediate car we had last year so it will be £550 which is cheaper than I can find so thanks! I'll continue to search for something a bit cheaper :0) xx

Do you want to collect at the airport? I also was finding them very expensive. I even had a look at smaller offices that do rental from the port area and they showed as no car available. Please repost if you find a super bargain !! We are family 5 so need large suv,prices insane £1000+

Prices went up before Brexit. I am sure they are worse now.

Try the Virgin Atlantic site. Often a little cheaper

Same here. Looking for Nov/Dec and im looking at £560+ We're only a family of 4 but i need a boot big enough to take a buggy!

We've ended up booking with netflights for £568 plus 5% quidco cashback, still a lot more than last year! And now everything has gone up as we paid for our villa in $$$ and only just bought our annual passes we need to save £1000 in 4 weeks!!! xx
