Hey Nebo, Me & DH love your trip reports! We are late 40's with one grown son. I'm printing this report to read later but caught a glimps of the US/IOA remark. If you detail it out somewhere else, please, please, give us a link or something to follow. I'm VERY interested in that part too. I've been reading here at the DIS for a LONG-LONG time and have seen this. The rules are kinda like maybe move it elsewhere-ish, be we tend to take up a home board. Most everyone there love us, (or at least our writing) and wants to read about where ever we've been. Heck, I'd read your trip report to the fair if you posted it, because I love your writing! I understand the rules and respect them but don't want to get left out of reading about US/IOA, we may be going.

Well Nebo I've been lurking for a while now and finally decided to create an account. I've really enjoyed your TR's to this point. I can empathize with your back issues. I spent the entire week during and after the super bowl in bed. Stupid me decided to bend over to pick up a screwdriver…that was all she wrote.

We are going to Disney in August and I've been perusing the forms to get in the Disney mood. My wife likes Disney but thinks I'm going a bit overboard on the planning. We’re meeting her family there and with eleven of us I think it will be appreciated in the long run. Anyway keep up the good work.

Oh my. Nebo you just made someone post for the first time. That kinda like taking someone's vir--er--well you know. :worship:

I guess you need a cigarette, drink and vic now!!

Sorry TigerTown I couldn't resist. I did resist commenting about the World Series though :rolleyes1

Angela

Angela

To be honest I was stunned that the Tigs were even in the World Series. At that moment I was happy to be watching real baseball again. :)

Now we have to get the Lions to the Superbowl :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks all for reading and posting, if I missed any of you,,,
Tough!

I"m just kidding, just sit there Marita. geesh!

OK, fine, I WILL!!! :snooty:

I don't know if I think terminator is BETTER than Philharmagic; I think I like them both equally. but terminator has a huge wraparound screen(try to sit a little further back than you would in a 3D movie), and it also has live actors.
note: it might be a little frightening for small kids

Disneydad
Holy crud I figured out how to multi Quote!!

Isn't that a great feeling? Today, you are a man!
 :woohoo:
Still here.

After reading the cut and paste from your other t/r I had to go and read that entire report :surfweb: I am glad I did :rotfl2:

Thanks for the laughs.

hey Mike, yeah, thanks, but that first one sure started out a little rough, I had no idea what I was doing. Ok, ok, I still don't.

Wonderful as usual. Not even a hand shake at night huh?
Angela

No, Angela, but I did wave.

Funny thing. I was talking about you tonight. I said to Mr. Silly, "hey, Knee-bow, um No-Bow, um Neb-oh, well, you know, Steve, should have another chapter of his TR up tonight. I'm not really sure how to say 'N-e-b-o'"

Should it rhyme with Nemo?

Also I loved the flashback. I thought you were having a stroke too. Sorry about the migraines, but I sure am glad you didn't end up sitting in the middle of the food court playing with your toes.

Hi Haley, You are correct, It rhymes with Nemo.
You see, that is the title of this report, instead of Finding Nemo, it's Feeding Nebo.
Geesh!
Don't make me take my shoes off again!

You did not!
I have to disagree here. Philharmagic moves to the head of the line. OK...I haven't seen Terminator but how could it be better than Philharmagic?
Maelstrom! On our 2000 trip! Huge line inside the building and, well, we all know Maelstrom ain't worth the wait.

OK....keep writing! popcorn::

Melinda, the best part of this trip is that we weren't forced to ride Maelstrom, it was closed!

Once you're married I believe "she" has you by them so technically they are in your possession but also belong to someone else.
Just wanted to clear that up.

OK, OK, I get it!

I loved the Nachos. Diane did her wifely thing and scraped away most of the tomatoes from my side of the mountain.

That's right. I hate tomatoes. Don't even try to start talking about pizza or spaghetti,, it's different.

The only good tomato is a dead tomato.

So there are two of us in this world that will eat pizza and pasta but HATE tomatoes - and I agree it is two totally separate things.

Now, the "Cheeseburger in Paradise"?
NOT!

I'm sorry, this wasn't even a "Cheeseburger in Berwyn, Ill. "

UGH - sounds like a bad burger then since I have yet to find a decent one in Berwyn!

Make that three! Can't stand tomatoes but love ketchup :)

Jaime, some of us, obviously not you, but some of us do like that other place, sometimes. See at least with my trip report you didn't bother showing up until I was on I-4 heading to WDW.;)

GO right ahead Nebo and tell us every detail about US, never mind Jaime.

Oh and I am a bit strange with tomatoes too. Hate them in salads and sandwiches, but love them on burgers and I love bruschetta. Go figure:confused3

Love, love, loving your TR so far! I just read your last one about your September 2006 trip, I feel on the floor laughing a few times. :rotfl2: My family and I are going down in September 07' from the 13th-21st, so maybe we will see you there. I am going to write a trip report when I come back, I really hope mine can be even a tad bit as funny as yours. Keep up the great work!:thumbsup2
Hey triple M, I'm glad you joined us, I hope you are staying on site. And , sadly, we are going to just miss each other, at least as it stands now, and since "free dining " has now expired,I doubt there will be any changes, well, we don't check in until the 22nd, at Riverside.

I can't believe I finally read the whole thing. Except page 13 which would not load for me at all. Am I the only one who has trouble with TR pages loading on some of the longer reports? What a pain!

I'm loving the Mad version! :thumbsup2 Thanks for the welcome! And hi to all your crazy fans. Very nice to meet y'all!:dance3:

Wasn't that a commercial? "I can't believe I read the whole thing?"
And lg, I am still I dial up, trust me when I say this, I have had problems from loading a page, to just logging in. Oh yes, just ask Melinda, she will GLADLY tell you how stupid I am.

I'm enjoying your report even though you have not hit Disney yet. as far as i am concerned, your stories are so entertaining that I would prefer you to keep going...and going...and going...

bunnyenigizer97-161.jpg

Cool, P-Disney, I get to be the "Enerdisney Bunny". Wait, don't bunnies proliferate repeatedly? Ok, on to the next post,,,,,,,

You know Jaime, it took me a while to figure out what the heck you were doing, even Diane didn't get it, but then the nickel dropped into my feeble brain. Ah, abbreviate, ah, yup, yup, yup. And we all know what a Disney purist you are , and how this part is just killing you. That's why the sad face at the end.
Geesh, I wish you came with subtitles!
Be a lot easier!

Simonmunroe? Hmm, sounds like Simon Cowell's younger brother. Hey, glad you joined us. As you can tell, sarcasm flows freely here,,, Hey, If I can take it, I can dish it out. This Uni part actually is coming to a close pretty soon, we only stayed there 3 nights. So, I don't think I'm going anywhere, yet.

Well Nebo I've been lurking for a while now and finally decided to create an account. I've really enjoyed your TR's to this point. I can empathize with your back issues. Hey, Tigertown, great name,,,,,,yep, it's amazing how you can pick up a 2 hundred pound machine at work,,,, no problem,,,, and then throw your back out picking up a magazine.

And what you just said about planning? You are living the best part of the trip. Don't let your wife talk you out of it. It WILL pay off. Man, I hope you're planning to stay on site, if not, you will be missing a LOT!

P. S.
Can we PLEASE have Maggs back?

Oh my. Nebo you just made someone post for the first time. That kinda like taking someone's vir--er--well you know. :worship:

Angela

Tigertown? Meet Angela, she's from, and you'll never guess, St. Louis. But really, she doesn't like to gloat. Just ask her how the Cards are doing this year, go ahead, I dare you.:rolleyes1

OK, fine, I WILL!!! :snooty:
Aaaaahhh, Marita, I knew you would take that the right way.

Hi Colleen, I'm sorry I haven't been around to your report. But, well, um you and I are just not compatible. Wait, that didn't come out the right way. I mean I am still dial up here, and it takes forever for an entire page of pictures to load. I did really like what I did see, it is unique. Everybody, check out Tiggerwannabe's California Dreamin' tripper, it's cool, the story is told in pictures and photos, with little needed dialogue.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: And you guys have a problem with this :confused3

Janet

You know Janet, when I read that, I was wondering which one of you would be the one to comment on that.
Ding, Ding, Ding, Jcc0621, you are the Winner!

I don't know if I think terminator is BETTER than Philharmagic; I think I like them both equally. but terminator has a huge wraparound screen(try to sit a little further back than you would in a 3D movie), and it also has live actors.

Ok, she has the frightening little kids part right. Terminator, actually stars Linda Hamilton, and Arnie, it was directed by James "titanic" Cameron, and it's like a mini 3-d movie remake of Terminator 2.
And this is the one movie you want to sit up closer to the front for. Trust me.

So there are two of us in this world that will eat pizza and pasta but HATE tomatoes - and I agree it is two totally separate things.

UGH - sounds like a bad burger then since I have yet to find a decent one in Berwyn!
Hi Tracy, I thought I was going to get a list from Jaime, but she just ignored the topic, like she does most things. I did used to like the burgers at "Comeback Inn" which was not too far from you, but I heard it's gone now.

Jaime, some of us, obviously not you, but some of us do like that other place, sometimes. See at least with my trip report you didn't bother showing up until I was on I-4 heading to WDW.;)

Yeah, puggymom, tomatoes are the strangest fruit/vegetable there is. I like ketchup too, (no, it's not Catsup), but I"m really loving this part where we all jump on Jaime.

She doesn't know what she's missing.

:confused3

One more thing.

All this that I have told you about Uni, is probably going to go under the wheels of the bus for those of you that haven't been there.
I'm not sure if I'm going to quite make it to what I"m referring to in the next chapter, but the one after that, I"m sure.

Hope violence and blood doesn't bother too many of you.
night night:angel:

OMG & Nebo goes to bed with all of us going we need more ...we need more!!!

Hey Nebo you got a mention in my last post on my trip report & my kids when I read it to them went "who's Mr. Nebo? is he one of the crazy people on that DISer thingy":rotfl2: :rotfl2:

(Sneaking in late and pulling up a chair in the back)

Hi, I'm Maggie ... and I'm addicted to Nebo's trip reports. I just discovered them last week when I went looking for trip reports from last year's free dining period and found his September 2006 report which lead me to his May 2006 report which brought me, of course, to here. My family will be at ASMo from September 22nd to October 2nd so I'll wave if I see you and/or Diane in the parks. In the meantime, I'll just sit here quietly and watch. popcorn::

I LOVED THAT PLACE!!!!! We actually went looking for it a few months ago (one of those places you can't give directions to, but can always find, ya know?) until they close it down!!!!!

It was just a pub, but it was like entering a dungeon (think peanut-shells-on-the-floor-LeCellier). And, yes, the burgers rocked!!! One burger could feed a family of four! FOR A WEEK!!!

And I didn't say anything because I've been racking my brain for 2 days trying to think of a place in town for burgers...

McD's??? :confused3

She doesn't know what she's missing.

:confused3

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: and Mo can say whatever she wants about, or to, me... SHE goes to Disney when I do - not the next week - FOUR TIMES IN A ROW!!!

(WHERE'S THE "STICKING YOUR TONGUE OUT" SMILIE???)

I realized just tonight you were still on dial up ...

Blue is too...at least she has an excuse living in the sticks and all~
