Wow, your karaoke marathon sounds like it was a blast! I love karaoke and didn't realize there was any on Disney property. Next time you'll have to videotape it for all of us and put your finest performances up on YouTube!
I guess it's pretty scary when you research karaoke for vacation. Just fyi, Kimonos is the only place I know of at Disney that has it, HOWEVER, at Uni, they also have it at the Jazz club at Citywalk, and at Jake's lounge at the Royal Pacific. We tried it there one time, but the sound was terrible, song selection was miniscule, and the guy that was running it was a jerk. We both sang one song, and walked out a half hour later when the KJ just kept singing himself, and ignored our slips.
BIG man rule infraction!! Why do some guys want to carry on a conversation, when all I want to do is get out of there as quickly as possible?
Great update! Keep 'em coming!
Hey Kevin, since you agree with me, I'm going to share a little bathroom procedure I have been practicing for many years now. A sanitary procedure.
You know those white cloth towels that you have to pull down till they click, and it rewinds up the back? Always advance the roll, BEFORE you wash your hands. Why have to grab the part that who knows who last wiped there hands on it just to advance to the clean part. Makes sense, no?
Hey, by the way, what in the heck does your screen name mean? Sounds like something I'd hear on Star Trek. "Captain, Chancellor Dismorgh from Diaphenus 2 has beamed aboard."
Jenny I got your number I need to make you mine Jenny don't change your number 867-5309 867-5309
I love that song! I'm sure it's even better when you sing it.
Wow, another Virginian. But no, nobody can touch Tommy Tutone on that song.
Ah ha! See, now I truly understand men's bathroom etiquette. It's somewhat like when a dentist tries to chat you up with all that junk in your mouth. Or, better yet, when an OB/GYN tries to chat up a woman during an annual exam. It's just one of those situations where you want them to get in, get things done, and get out. Now I see! Thank you!
Maraena, you did a great job breaking down my last chapter, and I appreciate all your comments. But if I try to breakdown all of your breakdowns, I'd probably have a breakdown. By the way, still think Smidgy is "demure and innocent?"
"There's a calm surrender, to the rush of day, when the heat of a rolling wind, can't be turned away,,,,,,,,,,,,,"
Jim Croce reference---Love it. He was a Philly Boy
Another Philly boy..You have great taste in Music
Sounds like you had alot of fun.
Janet, you're not old enough to remember Bobby Rydell, I barely do. But there sure were some great voices back then. Him, Roy Orbison, and Jay Black, from Jay and the Americans. No, I have never tried to sing "Cara Mia" nor will I ever.
See, I'm not strange; Maraena likes being first, too!
WOw! No comment.
I loved this! Nebo and smidgy in true form! You guys must be so much fun--I can't imagine being brave enough to do karaoke! (well, maybe, with a bottle of Reisling...and some friends singing "American Pie"

) I think the "bad singing gene" runs in our family; DD said her friends told her she can't sing well in music class! So sad, but so true--she sounds like my MIL !

We just plan on piano lessons....
Sorry about the computer glitch, but I sure am glad you re-wrote it for us!
Are you packing yet, for the next trip? And will you have Christmas lights on the top of your car on the way down? (Our neighbor does this to the top of his Tahoe

Okay I'm actually a little jealous.)
Whogirl, that's an interesting idea. Thank you, but no!!! I prefer to keep as low a profile as possible when I'm trying to drive 1250 miles one way.
