We have been here since Monday and we are still here until Wednesday evening. But we are ready to start planning on next trip. We know we will for sure be coming back in September 2012, but want to plan another trip in between.

Is April a good time to come??
Considering booking the Grand California... Is it worth the extra $$?

3rd week of April will be ok. 4th week good. First two weeks deep into Spring Break, it will make now and September look like heaven crowdwise.

Where are you staying now? GCH has a lot of fans, but does demand a high price.

The weather in April is typically good -- many of the nearby schools will be on Spring break though.

September is always a good choice since it is low season and the pricing offers a good value.

Are you staying at a good neighbor, DL or PP hotel?

We are booked for the Grand Californian for Thursday and Friday this week.

do you have annual passes? If not, you might consider buying them before you use your last day up especially if you are going to be going at least one more time within in a year and from the sounds of it, probably two more times. If you are considering doing this, make sure you check for blackout dates when booking your next trip.

LOL! We were planning our next trip to Disneyland before we left the park too :rotfl:

Yes we have our annual pass that we got the first day of our trip. We were lucky enough to stay at the Disneyland Hotel for our first time and that was nice.

If you already in the deluxe price category for hotels, I'd say definitely try the Grand Californian. It's all just personal taste and style, but I think it's really dreamy. If I were you, I'd stop by the lobby before you leave. Grab a snack or a drink and see how you like it. For me, it was love at first site! But if it doesn't really grab you, you could definitely save some money!

The convenience / location factor is nice, of course, but probably not worth additional money over the Disneyland hotel. I'd only pay extra for GCH if you really love the place.

I stay there every time, but that's irrational (as I mentioned above) . . . Love is irrational! :wizard:
