So excited! I am adding the Beauty and the Beast rose to my floral!!! I will have it on the sweetheart table. it is so nice and really wanted to incorporate something from the movie into my room. tom was going to surprise me and just get it but then he decided to get me involved in it since i have to pick how i want it

THis is it:

I am going to replace the ivy and cobwebs with all rose petals. I love it and then i will have a 9" cylnder with purple rose petals and water and a floating candle on each side of it and red and purple rose petals on just the sweetheart table. I think it will look really nice and i am so excited for it.

Thanks girls. It is not even that much money so it is even better i love red and purple(my 2 fav colors) and i think it will look nice. I am also doing 3 9" cylinders with purple rose petals and candles on all the rounds tables with rose petals on the tables and chair covers with victorian lilac sashes. i think the red will add a little pop on our sweetheart table and we want it ot be different. Elizabeth from floral and i discussed having the BATB rose in the middle of our table with candles on the sides and red and purple rose petal scattered. i think it will look simple and elegant which is what I want.

I also went to world of disney on my lunch break last week and bought my mickey mouse bride headband ears(in case anyone can't find them the disney store on 5th avenue in NYC has a bunch-call and see if they will ship it to you) and the black top hat with ears! Too bad that the top hat does not fit my DF have to think of what to do now. The ears fit me and so excited to wear them. I am also looking at design ideas for t-shirt for DF and tank for me. Hopefully someone on disdesign board can help me.

so we got half of our responses back. we are hoping it comes to just 50 because that is all the whitehall room can hold. if it is over (we invited about 66 people so I think we will have at least 15 nos.) i'd have to move the location which i so don't want to do. since i don"t want a regular ballroom. hopefully it will all work out. it is so stressful planning a wedding. still waiting for the final BEO so hopefully we are right where we want to be. I think we are....

ohhh steph sorry i havent posted for ages!! that ps looked too good- i cannot believe the types of food they let you taste- its a whole dinner! I WISH i could go andhave a planning session!! all the cake tasting (my heaven!) mmmm!! and that dessert party... well, what can i say... its a good thing i wasnt there or no one would get a look in!! haha!! i sooo want to go to one of those dessert parties (how do you find out about them??)

and the drama begins...my sister who is also my MOH informed everyone she is pregnant. she told me she was going to try but not this early on. she also called me while i was in florida the day of my PS to share her "wonderful" news with me. i was sworn to secrecy about it until she was 3 months along. why you ask should i be allowed to have one day that is about me or why couldn't she wait until i returned from my PS on monday? because she is selfish. she will be 8 MONTHS pregnant at my wedding. being that i am not having a bridal party and she is the only one, i am a little nervous. she swears she is coming but her last pregnancy was really bad. also being we live in NY and she has to fly i also get concerned. she said her doctor said she can fly(she will be 32 weeks). she told me to have a "back up" just in case but now i have to choose between my 5 BFFs. whoever i choose now has to get a dress. my one BFF said she would buy a purple dress and bring it just in case. i am not trying to be a bridezilla but my sister always has to attempt to steal my thunder in some way. she is also a selfish royal PITA. we can't start looking at dresses for at least another month but she is going to have get a really big size and get it taken in. its just an extra stress on me. it is typical of her and i know there has been some drama regading my shower and bach. party between her and my friends(they really can't stand her either like most people who know her). she is my sister though and i can't demote her because that will start WWIII-just needed to vent.

Omg - this is wierd... i am all for people having babies but - yesterday i found out my cousin (my favourite) is expecting a baby in feb and i wanted him there more than anyone becuse i know he (and his wife) love disney and they actually said to me ''ooh we arent going to try for a baby until after your wedding because we are so exciting about going!''... and now they will probably not be going because they will have a baby.

I didnt even know people could fly that late in the pregnacy... 8 months ... Its not fair on you (no matter how happy we might be of that they are having a baby) but you just know that either the pregnant person / or the baby will be the center of attention (well, almost) on your day and i understand it is a pretty big bum! Its not fair either that she told you on your PS... she could have waited until the day after...

thanks for the hugs stace. you are so sweet! yeah we researched it online the other night, you can fly up until 36 weeks. some airlines do still give you a problem (legal issues and such) but she said she will be getting a note from her doctor. most of the people who are going to be there won't allow her to be center of attention-trust me that will not be happening. it is just another stress-when as you know we have sooo much stress as is planning a wedding and one that is 100s of miles from my home! i mean she told me she would start trying in the summer, so she would have been 5-6 months which is not bad but how do you tell someone not to try b/c of my wedding. i could not do that-ha di known she would get preganant early and quick....oh well what can i do but wait and see. at least i am very lucky to have some great friends who are there for me and back me up!

I totally understand! Its wierd because my cousin actually want to go to the wedding so badly, but 1- i dont think they can, plus, its at an extra cost to us as we have to provide for the baby at the wedding perhaps you know and its something we didnt think about when we was planning who to invite because they told us they didnt want a baby until after because they want to have fun in Disney. Its going to be hard to invite them now because, we havent invited other cousins because they have plenty of babies and we though, we would invite the cousin that doesnt have any (otherwise we would be paying for like 14 babies/kids!) babies as it would be just two of them.

I mean, you cant not let someone try for a baby and you can help unexpected pregnancies but in my case, they actually told me they didnt want / and wernt going to have a baby until after the wedding! Unless it was an unexpected pregnancy, i couldnt say to someone i wasnt going to have a baby until after the wedding because i wanted to go so badly and then going and getting myself pregnant. heh!

It is a big stress, especially now finding a dress for her- she will almost be popping the baby out at your wedding- again its something you cant help but i know how you feel- its a big pain!

Will she be okay to fly back home? Like, will she have to cut her stay at Disney because of regulations of flying when pregnant? Or will she still be in the 36 week?

luckily the dress shop where i have gotten my dress from has maternity BMs gown. alfred angelo makes some nice ones and we have looked online at pictures of some of them. since she is only coming to disney from saturday to monday (my wedding is on sunday) she does not have to worry about being out of her range. in fact almost my whole family is coming down the day before which bothers me and i have fought with them on it. i would have liked them to come friday and spend the weekend but of course not. anyway-it is all about me and tom that day and i will be damned if someone ruins it. at least one of my BFFs becky will be there early with me. she is one person i can actually rely on! its never easy huh stace?

I did find the Yara dress, but sadly it was not all that I had hoped when I put it on. But I did find another Maggie that I loved!

thanks for reading! your setting is beautiful also no problem-if you happen to go there ask for janice. she helped me both times and is great! the last dress i tried on was the dress. i just knew you will find your perfect dress! which maggie dress did you love? i can't pm you until i get to work because i have the dress pics on my work computer so df does not see it! :lol:

at least you have your Friend with you before the wedding, thats nice of her to spend the time with you.

I know know why people have the HATE ON with weddings and why people always are so negative about weddings- its because of all the problems that always come up hah - it will never be easy.

I look like big bird! (thought you would like laugh at least Steph)

Ok, in all seriousness, that is no fun to have to compete with a suer preggo MOH. I think you should take up your BFF's offer and at least she can have a dress on hand. Also Davids Bridal has maternity gowns too, so she could get it last minute if needbe since Davids gowns come in very quick. Let us know how it works out girl

yeah we are also going to the bridal shop where i got my dress. they have maternity bridesmaids dresses there by alfred angelo, alfred sung and some others. we are also going to go to DBs adn see what they have. it is just one added stress onto all the other stress i deal with between the wedding and work and life! UGH!!!! sorry to ***** more! so glad you are back for a few days though!
