thanks! that would be great. you might see something on a UK site that i would not see. i am the kind of person once it is in my head, that is what i want. it is a sickneess-:lol i am going to bloomingdales at lunch to look for a dress for the bach. party(so funny how the brits call it a hen party-love it!) and will pop into the shoe department to see if i see anything. its so nice to have you back stace!

I know i have not updated in a while but honestly not much going on. been busy working like a dog but we finally finished and sent out our newsletters on saturday. my friend from work who is in IT helped me set up the template and then tom and i just designed how we wanted. i am so excited by it and think it came out great.

I also found out my bachelorette party is sept 12!! can't wait to go to the city and party with my girlies. i don't know all the details just we are are taking a limo into the city and then we will see... should be fun even with my pregnant sister being there. anyway, going shopping on sunday with my BFF for an outfit for her and maybe me. there are 2 shops on the upper east i want to try and see if i can find a dress or outfit there. at least there has not been much drama in the past 2 weeks. i hope it stays that way...that's all for now!

thanks! we mailed them out. I printed them up at work and since we only sent out 25 postage was not that much. i still might email them but not sure. I know one of my girls just told me she got it already and we mailed it on Saturday!

I like the idea of mailing them out better. At least people have to glance at it when they open it, for an email they may not even open the attachment!

I wish I had a color printer at work, that would make things much easier. I figure I can handle the cost to send the first ones out and if I do others I'll either print them mostly in B/W or email them. After all the time it took to get the colors right, it just seemed like a shame to do B/W this time.

Wow that is really fast! I hope everyone loves them!

Thanks Jenny. We worked really hard on it and everyone loved it! People asked me if it was done by Disney! lol So exciting news! We are booking our room today for our wedding and honeymoon. WE have decided to upgrade our room and will be staying on the conceierge level of the GF for our entire stay!!! i am so excited. I hope we get a Magic Kingdom view which I am requesting so we will see. I figure it is our wedding and honeymoon, we deserve it!! I wish it were here already!! all this waiting, it SUCKS!!!

Congrats on upgrading to the Grand! And concierge should be amazing! The Grand is so awesome and beautiful and perfect for a honeymoon. We stayed there in June and had a GV room which was still fantastic. We'll be staying there a few days for the wedding and then I'm trying to drag DF away to BWI or YC since we've never stayed at those and always wanted to.

Not sure if you already know but there is a whole fansite dedicated to the Grand, it's ******************. She has a ton of info on there and pics! She also has all the menus too!

Thanks!!! We were going to just do a standard room at the GF which is what we have reserved for all our guests but decided we deserve it!! I love the GF-we have stayed there the last 2 years for the holidays and NYE and loved it. I am hoping the decorations are still up the day of my wedding. would love to take pics in front of the gingerbread house they put up. We always got a lake view and could almost see the castle but not quite! i am hoping that we will get that this time! I did not know that site but will plan to check it out!!

This is just kind of silly but who else but Disbrides would appreciate it. I am on my lunch break and i work next door to FAO Schwartz and The Apple Store which is across from the beginnng of Central Park. It is also where they film the CBS morning show. ANyway, there is seating there where people hang out. SO I am heading back to my office and who do I see just hanging out on 5th Avenue in front of Apple but:

MINNIE MOUSE!!!!

she was taking pictures with tourists and collecting money for it!! she had a little purse that had dollar bills in it. it was too funny. i had to take a picture! it is a little blurry since i took it with my cell but still too funnY!!!

DF's sister is getting married on Aug 29th and the reception is at the Garden City Hotel, so a few days ago I get an email about a special DVC event at the GCH for the exact same date and time! They said there would be characters and other surprises. Maybe I'll have my own run in with the Mouse.

Thanks! I agree. I want people to be far far away!! well it does not matter since most of my wedding party including my parents are staying at the cornado springs.

It was such a bad costume up close! DEF not one of Disney's trademarks.
