I know its been a while since I have been on but working like crazy on a trial. Anyway, my bachelorette party was this past weekend. It was soo much fun and of course drama filled. We went to this club Webster Hall for an 80s prom. It was soooo much fun! I had a great time except when my friend who is not coming to my wedding-see a few post ago- decided to leave and not say goodbye to me. She also made my brother in law who came to pick up my pregnant sister (who was a real trooper and did a great job i have to say) drive her an hour and a half home. I was sooo mad! I am not talking to her (my friend) at the moment. My other "friend" backed out at the last minute because she had a "wedding". I don't believe it, i think she wanted to hang out with her new boyfriend instead and she stiffed my sister and friends for the limo. I have uninvited her to my wedding actually since she has pulled a lot of stuff on me and not been a true friend. it is amazing how you find out your true friends during this time in your life. anyway, i promised some pics so here you go:

We still had an awesome time even with the drama.

I also tried my dress on thrusday. I have pics and will PM them to whoever wants to see them. I can't post since tom is on here. Anyway, I have been so down and the bachelorette party def helped to lift me up. It is not looking good for my grandpa but trying to think positive. All he keeps telling everyone is that he wants to make it to my wedding. That all he is hoping for is to see me walk down the isle. That is it for now.

Looks like a great night, sorry about the drama though.

Please PM me a photo!

I've said a prayer for your grandpa.

Looks like your bachelorette party was really fun! Sorry about the drama but don't let that get you down, in just 3 and a half months you'll be having your Disney wedding! :goodvibes

I would love to see a pic of you in your dress. :cutie:

Your grandpa will be in my thoughts. :flower3:

thanks girls. i appreciate the thoughts and prayers. it means a lot. it is so hard and i am trying to be up beat about things. on another note i heard from the dj today. we have dj scooter. he sounds happy and upbeat. as long as he sticks to the play list we provide then we will be happy. there are still so many little things to do and i am feeling overwhelmed. i know it will all get done though. i am very lucky that tom is completely involved to help. just one of the many reasons i love him.:lovestruc:love:

So i have the best fiancee in the world.:cloud9::lovestruc As you all know I have been so depressed lately with everything going on. SO tom called me last week at work to tell me he got me 2 presents since he thought i needed cheering up. he would not tell me what they were and of course called and teased me. :rotfl: well the first one came tuesday-it was Toy Story Mania for the Wii!!! it is soooo much fun and had the same games as the ride and is 3-D.

He also got me this great book:

so excited. I plan on finding all these things on my wedding and honeymoon. i think it willl aslo be interesting to share and point out things to our friends and family. it will DEF be a good subway read.

anyway my case that was on trial settled which means i don't have to go to Texas for a month. Even though the OT would have been great and helpful, i am happy about that b/c now i can make plans to go see my grandpa in florida. everything happens for a reason i guess.

i want this book! Where can i get it! hehe

thats so sweet of Tom to do that, little things that make a big difference eh!

some BIG news. my sister has stepped down as my maid of honor. being that she is pregnant(and will be 8 months pregnant at my wedding), we had a nice chat and she said she did not want to risk screwing me if she was too sick to make it. we went dress shopping on sunday with my mom and at lunch she brought it up. basically she said that it is my day and that i deserve to not be stressed about whether or not my MOH is able to come. since i am not having a bridal party, it is not like someone can just step in. i am actually very shocked. she is still going to do my shower and be there while i get ready and like i told her she will be in pictures since she is my sister. my mother actually agreed with her about it and also has been very nice. i think since my grandpa is sick, they both have come to realize that life is too short. anyway, i have 2 BFFs becky and missy (which was hard to pick between the 2) and missy made it easy on me saying ask becky, i understand and won't be mad. even though they have both helped on everything, missy said becky did a little bit more since she had my bach. party at her house. i also think since missy has an infant and g-d forbid something happens to the baby, she would obviously not be able to make it. So I officially asked becky to be my MOH and she has graciously accepted! she knew she was one of my back ups and is totally cool about it. i am excited to have her. At least she will be there the whole time since she is spending the week there before the wedding with us :) I am a little sad actually about my sister. i did not think i would be but i think since we always said we would be each others since we were kids, it is weird. at least there are no hard feelings and my sister did seem sincere. i know that becky will be an AWESOME MOH and do everything possible to make sure my day is great. she is a wonderful person and everyone loves her especially me!!! so now we have to go dress shopping ASAP since david's bridals said she has to order by the middle of october. at least i can look for non-maternity dresses now which is a big relief.

That does sound like the best option. And being eight months pregnant, I am not too sure how comfortable it would be standing up all the time (can't say I have been pregnant before!). This way she can sit, relax, and enjoy your wedding! And so can you, without having to worry about her. Maybe she can still get a dress in the same color family as your bridesmaids (either a shade darker or lighter) and be considered a pseudo-MOH, if you will. That way, guests know she is still an important part to your wedding day, even if she can't stand up with you at the alter. :thumbsup2

I agree, I think this way will work out to be much better. I just think it will be much less stressful for everyone. Good luck dress shopping! I'm sure you'll find something great!

I completely missed your posts before the bit about your sister. I have that book!

I think that sounds best and sensible. Yeah for shopping!
thanks claire. it was very shocking to me but glad we were able to come to an agreement. isn't that book great? i can't wait until my wedding so i can find some of the hidden things from the book:banana::banana:
