Step Parenting

I know that I can get my answers here. I would like to know if any of you know of any great books on step parenting? I am close to a couple that are about to be married. This is her second marriage and she has a six year old daughter. Even though she and her ex-husband still remain close and co-parent this little girl, it has been just her and the child for over 5 years now. This will be his first marriage and he has no children. I want to give them books that will help both situations. . . hers and his. Thanks for any suggestions.

They are Christian based, so not sure if that is in line with your friend's belief system, but we've had positive feedback from those who have used them.

The Dinosaur Divorce for the child. This really helped my stepdaughter a thousand times over deal with this issue. She is now 18 and told me just the other day who much she enjoyed that book - that and the American Girl's book on divorce, which will be helpful for when she gets a little older.
