Hello! My sister has asked me if they can bring their non-foldable step 2 hard plastic push car to use as a stroller at WDW. It meets the size requirements but my hunch is that it could be considered a wagon. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thank you!581622

I would recommend a regular stroller with a sun shade. The heat and sun can be brutal in Florida. (With something like above, it definitely could not go on Disney buses, and possibly the skyliner - all strollers must be folded on buses). My suggestion, leave it at home!!

According to Step 2, its a ride toy. It is suggested for ages 1.5-3 years. Extending that to even four or five. It definitely cannot be reclined for any "napping". (The average guest walks 8-12 miles per day). Anything you bring into the park, is at the "discretion" of security. I'm not sure, it will get through. Its hard plastic, sits close to the ground (causing a tripping hazard). Guests have been known to run into strollers, etc.

Yeah, that is a toy. Not very steerable, shaded, or sturdy. Not something that should be in the park.

This would also not be comfortable for an extended period of time either. Very cute but not for the parks.

I really don't think that they allow those types of things into the parks. It would become a slippery slope on what would be brought in, just like those huge wagons became. Not all of the pathways are nice and smooth either. You really want a decent stroller to get around in. We found that jogging strollers are the best. They are very maneuverable, and you can actually move and steer them with one hand. That is invaluable. The cheap umbrella strollers, for us, did not work well at all.

It has been awhile, but I have seen them in Disneyland before. It has been awhile, so they could have been banned with the stroller wagons. I would not use it for many reasons though - no sun shade, no recline, no storage. My BFF had one and she never even considered it for the parks --- it was either her full single or double stroller.
