staying onsite... more questions!

I have convinced my husband that we need to stay onsite (yeah!).

I just realized today that the early entry is only good for one park? Is that right? which park is it? Is it the harry potter park?

also - Do the parks ever stay open late for on site hotel guests?

Lastly - We get "unlimited" fast pass entry to the rides.. right? I know it isn't all rides, but many rides... right?

You are going to love staying onsite. You can't beat the perk of unlimited express passes. Plus the hotels are within walking distance to both parks and CityWalk or you could take the ferry boats. Express Passes are good for every ride in both parks with the exception of the Forbidden Journey, Pteradon Flyers and for the wand show.

Early entry is good for both parks. The Harry Potter area of IoA is open and on the Universal Studios side, Despicable Me and Transformers is open for July 1 through September 2 according to Orlando Informer.

Unfortunately, the parks do not stay open late for onsite guests.

Early Entry is only for IOA ..EXCEPT from July 1,2013-Sept 2,2013..Both parks will be open for early entry during this timeframe.
Express Pass is good at all rides and shows EXCEPT---Forbidden Journey, Pteranodon FLyers and Ollivanders Wand Show.
The parks do not stay open later for resort guests.

Wizarding World will still have early entry but Transformers probably won't.

There normally isn't early admission for Universal. It is only because Transformers just opened and so they are having it for the summer.

You won't need it because you get unlimited express access for every ride at Universal.

At IOA there is no unlimited express access for Forbidden Journey. That is why there is early admission for on site hotel peeps.

They are only having early entry for the Studios from July 1st - Sept 2nd and it is only because Transformers is new ( they did the same thing last year for despicable me and likely will do it after the HP expansion next year- ad probably keep it at that point)
