Thank you! I am 2 weeks post-op today. It's still pretty difficult. I've developed tendonitis in one of the hamstring tendons behind my knee, so that's adding to my issues, slowing down my PT.
You know, everyone says do the PT, do the PT, do the PT. I am, but I am also not sure that I need to have my PT come to the house 3 days a week. At this point I have all the exercises, she just watches me to make sure I'm doing things correctly, maintaining alignment, etc. Now that I know what to do and what to watch for, I can see not needing PT to keep coming in. Oh well... it's what my surgeon prescribes, so I'll do it. One thing I do wish I'd done, pre-surgery, was to build up my quads more. I've always had pretty strong thigh muscles, but I really think this would all be so much easier if I'd concentrated on really strengthening my quads and glutes.
