So, I know we can get into DL early the days it's available if we are staying onsite, I was wondering if this applied at all to DCA as well, or if early entry there just doesn't exsist?

Here's everything you need to know about Magic Mornings

But a direct response is no, DCA does not have the same kind of Magic Morning program as DL. Frankly, it would not be worth it if they offered it. DCA never gets as crowded as DL and so it is easier to tour in the afternoons when DL hits its crowd peak.

DCA doesn't have an official magic morning like DL, but every now and then they'll open the gates 30 minutes before official opening time. The only attraction open during this time is Soarin' over California and the shops. We did this on our last couple of trips in July '07 and Oct '07.

I know that DCA has offered an EE day or two since they had them when I was visiting in October. I noticed (while on the balcony of our room) people walking through DCA over an hour before the park opened, and later we found out they did have EE for resort guests, but I don't know how often this occurs.

I can't say that you didn't see it, but DCA has NEVER had EE. Ever.

They do have that Segway tour now, starts at 7:30 and finishes before the park opens. You don't get to go on rides, though, except for your Segway. :)

It's not really an ee at DCA. It's more of a rope drop like at DL, but one ride is open along with shops. I know when we stayed at GCH in 2005 and in 2006, there was an early morning brisk walk through DCA offerred to guests of GCH. No rides of shops were open, it was strictly a fitness activity. It was around 7am and only offerred on certain days of the week.

Humm maybe that is what it was. I just wish I still had the paperwork that was in our room from our stay back in October because I know I saw guests walking through DCA at 8:30 am, and my mom said this one paper said something about it being open early for resort guests (if only I had actually looked at that paper!:rolleyes2 ).

Well, I guess we may never know what that was about!
