We are staying at Royal Pacific tomorrow night for the 1st time. My girls have never been to Universal Studios before so we are excited.... but we are only going to have one day. We are happy about the FOTL passes as well.

If I were to ask for a certain building at check in, which should I ask for? Is building 3 a special building or anything? It just looks the best because it is by the pool and the boat launches.

We are celebrating my birthday and my son's birthday but I suppose with just one night, it's not really worth mentioning at check in is it? We aren't Lowes members or anything like that.. first time at any Lowes hotels. So no chance of upgrades at all I would assume?

I've enjoyed reading all the posts about this hotel...

Hi
you can apply for a Lowes card even though you haven't stayed. With this you get a welcome pack and maybe upgarde( not sure) just go onto there site. Might be worth calling them direct if you going this weekend. I would mention both your birthday at check in- i think the RP dining room has universal charters one night and the Lula another over the weekend. Have a great trip

Ok, I realized that I already am a Loews member. We stayed at a hotel in downtown disney about 3 years ago that is owned by Loews so I signed up then. We were actually upgraded to a suite that time too.... and got the cookies and milk thing.

Anyway, we didn't apply the number to the resservation obviously since dh made it yesterday and just found out I HAVE a number. So for it to even count, do I need to call someone?

You can put your Loews number on the ressie at check in so you'll get credit for the stay. You should ask for a room in Tower 1 with a view of IOA. The best standard room is 1733 if available. Have fun!

I second the tower one recommendation! We love to look at the park from our room.

i emailed Lowes and asked them to add my card number to my reservation:-)

We stayed at the RPR June 2 - 5 in room 1352 (tower 1, 3rd floor). Here is our view:

As you can see, we had a great view of the Hulk and Dr. Doom, and also the waterway from our window. The view would have been better from a higher floor, but the 3rd floor was nice, especially since the hotel lobby is located on the 3rd floor.
