staying at poly - worth it to have character breakfast at cape may?

already having character breakfast at poly.

It depends on you, honestly. The breakfast at Cape May is nice, and I like the character interaction there (Minnie, Donald, and Goofy). But if you don't have a car, getting there is doable, but will take some planning.

We're planning on doing it on a day we're going to Epcot or HS. :)

your already doing Ohana, and it sounds like you really dont want to do another one, so I wouldnt bother in your case. But Cape May has different characters than Ohana. CM has donald, minnie, and goofy (in beach wear!). I looove cape may. The atmosphere, the food, and the fact that its low key and not rowdy is pretty darn amazing. I highly recommend it.

honestly, since your planning it for a HS or Epcot day, its on your route as it is, so I say go for it.

Unless you want to take a taxi to get there, I'd probably skip it. The character interaction is better here than any of the other character meals but if using Disney transportation, you have to plan on a lot of time to get there. The food is okay, nothing special.

We love cape may. If you can make it work, I would! We usually have breakfast there and then go to Epcot. It works out great.

We are staying at the Poly and having breakfast at Cape May Cafe at 9am. What time should we head out of our resort?? Best way to get there? we are using all Disney transportation.

I would probably take the monorail from the Poly to the MK and then get a bus to the YC/BC. I am sure there are other ways to get there as well but this is what we did recently and it worked out fine.

Thanks Nancy!! I wasn't sure if buses back to the resort would be running that early!

How long are you staying at WDW?

If you think you'll be going back within the next couple of years, plan to do Cape May next time.

We usually do only one character breakfast per WDW vacation (stays are usually a week or a little longer). We always have a car so doing a resort breakfast is not too difficult but still takes time and money. The food is pretty good but taking photos and interaction with the characters are the real values for us.

This is what we did, too. Worked out really well. Cape May was one of our favorite meals this past trip! :goodvibes

* I should mention that we headed into Epcot after breakfast. Just a short walk to the International Gateway. It was a fantastic start to our Epcot day.

even though i like it... it's not worth the hassle in the morning.

ohana and kona are amazing breakfasts, 1900 park fare and grand floridian cafe are a short monorail ride away!! you have a great location so i would take advantage of those nearby!

I would go to EPCOT for the day, then walk to BC for Cape May Dinner Buffet. It is not a character dinner, but the food is great! It is my DS (14/13/10) favorite buffet. :dance3:

From there, you can walk back through EPCOT to the monorail, or take the boat to HS.
