Staying at OKW (rented points) 11/1-11/5 info please

This will be our first time staying at a DVC resort (except Vero) we arrive very late on 11/1. Will probably get to the resort around midnight, first question, do they have a turn down service, we are in a 1 bedroom and would love to have the sleeper sofa ready for the kids!! Is is possible to get milk, 1/2 and 1/2 and Orange Juice delivered to the room before we arrive?? We are going to bring alot of food with us, just to make it easier, since we are headng to MGM first thing on Saturday for early entry. WE are taking Tiffany to the resort, I know they would stop at Crossroads? I think thats the closet store, but having the beverages already there would be very helpful, also, would the onsite store be open that late, and is it near checkin??? Thanks for all your help, hopefully on this trip I can convince dh to purchase DVC!!! especially if we can get VWL!!! Thanks again

The on-site store is diectly across a pathway from check-in, but it is not open that late. I think they close at 10pm. There is no turn-down service at OKW, to my knowledge. The pull out is "made-up", you just have to pull it out. Pillows and extra blanket should be in one of the closets.

I've never used Tiffany, but ask if they can recommend a store other than Crossroads Gooding's - the prices are very high.

ask the person you rent from to send you the order form for grocery - you need to fax it 3 to 4 days before your arrival. It is on the DVCmembers website.

(It is very expensive).

the DVC site was down I finally got on - send me a fax number and I will send you the form

Milk 1/2 gallon $2.95
Orange Juice 1/2 gallon $3.60
half and half pint $1.50

plus a $5.00 service charge - they are delivered after 5 pm.

I would recommend that you have Tiffany Town Car stop at a grocery or convenient store and pick up the milk and juice.
As mentioned, no turn down service. But you will love the 1 BR at OKW. Enjoy.
