Staying at DVC and not doing the parks

The cost of 5 APs is very high so I can see us doing this soon enough. We will make our first DVC trip next summer but we have gone 4 times in the past 5 years. We had APs so I could never justify the added cost of SW and Universal. But in the near future I can see us not getting APs and spending our time at SW, US, the resort, DTD and other local attractions.

Which is the closest DVC to SW and US?

We are going home to SSR next July. We are not planning any visits to the parks - maybe one of the water parks.

none are really close - but I guess BWV, OKW, and SSR are about equal distance from the road out to I4 or IB.

here is a list of other things to do

Balloon ride - must get up and be there at 6:30 am

Miniature Golf - both at WDW and not

lots of outlet - so shopping is a big one
