Staying at Dolphin TG week...Should I make any requests?

My family has 3 rooms booked at the Dolphin for 11/22 (Saturday before TG) to 11/28 (Friday after TG). We have made no room requests. Although we would love to be upgraded to the Penthouse Suite when we walk in because of our great looks and super personalities, we understand that is unlikely and really not even necessary for us since most of our time is going to be in the parks. However, should we make ANY room requests? I don't want to get the basement room by the noisy water heater because we didn't make a request and everyone else did. The better room we get, the better our vacation will be. Any suggestions on requests we SHOULD make if we need are appreciated, also.

I would want a renovated room. Something on the West Wing would be nice if you are planning to use the pool a lot. I imagine since you have 3 rooms together, at least one will have a balcony. The balcony rooms alternate with non-balcony rooms, so maybe you could request two balcony rooms.
