Staying at BWV with no car

Does anyone know another way besides renting a car to get to places like Walmart for groceries,and Medieval Times? These will be the only places we would go to so we don't want to rent a car for just that. Is there a bus? How about a cab, or they really expensive? Has anyone done this before?

Have you considered a one day car rental from the Swan/Dolphin? You could do the groceries and M. Times on that one day.

The groceries could be done via a delivery service like wegoshop.com... Medievil times could be a taxi or maybe even Mears...

We did BWV with "no car" except for our first day. We rented a car through DVC (picked it up at the Dolphin) and did groceries,shopping, lunch off-site, and dinner at Animal Kingdom Lodge all in one day. It worked very well. When you have to go from one resort to another (distant) resort, the Disney Transportation can really eat into your time.
A little planning really helped.
