Staying at BW for one night...what is there to do?

I just booked a one night stay at BW for the night before our Jan cruise. We will arrive about 6pm so we don't want to get our APs and go to the parks until we return from the cruise. Can you see fireworks from epcot at BW? What is there to do around the area? I have been there once before but only ate at beaches and cream 2 years ago so my memory is fuzzy. Thanks for any suggestions

If you like sports, have dinner at the ESPN Club and watch the games. Jellyrolls is a great place to go after dinner. I have never eaten at the brewery, but the beer is good. Take a surrey bike ride around the BW. Mini golf is a short walk from BW. Play games on the BW and watch the performers.

Do you know why the rooms are smaller at BWV than OKW? Because you don't spend much time in them!!

You can see the fireworks (not the water stuff) from a bridge that leads from the BW to Epcot. I've seen people gather there to catch a glimpse. I like just hanging out with an ice cream or some other treat (from the bakery) on the boardwalk itself. The surrey bikes were fun. We took one around just before sundown and saw the sun set on our way (over Swan/Dolphin I believe). If you're there in Jan. - it might be dark by the time you arrive. ??

Have fun! I have more than 10 months to wait for my next trip.
