OK. Anyone else have this lifetime goal of staying in ALL the Disney Resorts/Hotels??? In October, we'll be staying at the All Star Movies, which will mean I have stayed in all value resorts and the campground. Now, it was really hard to choose to stay here when we could have afforded to move up, but, whatever. No biggie. My problem is that now that we can afford to stay at the Poly and WL, I still haven't stayed at the Moderates. I think I will follow in the foot steps of other DISer's and break up my stay b/t two resorts next time. So, Port Orleans FQ and Riverside for the next trip and Coronado Springs with Carribean Beach the next. That means I'll have to wait YEARS before I get to WL and AKL, much less Poly and Grand Floridian. Anyone else have these oh-so-trivial internal conflicts?????????? I doubt that after I stay at WL, I will want to stay at a moderate, you know??? I can't believe I am "sighing" over something so dumb.....but then I wondered if there were any other crazy people out there who shared my life goals :) :rolleyes1

DH and I have the same aspirations as you! We stayed at ASsports in Feb of 03, then this Feb. we stayed in POR and in April AKL and DH says to me "how can we go back after staying someplace like THIS!" :rotfl: But we still want to do them all. We make quick weekend trips though since we live in Tampa so it's easier for us to spread our stays around than others. We will be in WL in August, MAYBE CR or POLY end of Sept. and then we may try POP sometime in October. We only stay for a night or two so it doesn't blow our bank. ;)

My New Years Resolution this year was to be able to say by the end of 2007 that I had stayed in every WDW resort. I had OKW, Poly, BC, YC, and Wilderness Cabins to go. I just came back from OKW and I know I'll get two more of them in (probably Poly for DD's birthday and either YC or BC for Christmas) but I don't think I'm going to make it this year.:sad1:

OH YES! I too have this same dream!
We have only stayed at all star movies, and will be staying at CBR in Aug.
So I have many trip planned in my head for the years to come.

We have the same goal

We have 2xat the GF - 1st time HM 2nd VR
We are going to the Poly w/ my mom who is in a WC and thought it would be best for her. ok and I just love it there

My daughter and I were discussing that the other day. We have been to all the values & POR. This year it will be Saratoga Springs. Next year she wants Coranado Springs. I hope we make it.....she is only 12 so she has lots of time!!!

always have, my only mistake was doing suites and concierge first!!! now, I do not want to do the values!

i do too, except that i did not enjoy my night in ASMu so much that I am dreading a stay in ASSp & ASMo. I am sure that someday the lure of saving a few bucks will win me over!

We had the same aspiration before we purchased into DVC. We've stayed everywhere except for AKL, All-Star Music & Movies, POP, WL, CSR and YC (but have been to the BC numerous times). We will probably check out the AKL DVC when it is open. I doubt we will make it to the others, though.

I have that goal!!! I have stayed at all the values and going to ssr this year!! ooo ya and i stayed at por!

i would love to think i would achieve that but i dont think our budget would ever stretch to it.:sad1:
we have always stayed offsite when we go to orlando but hope to stay in a value resort on our next trip which hopefully will be next year.
it would be good to have stayed in every resort though!:goodvibes

We want to do the same thing! We're well on our way (thanks to stay splitting on a regular basis), but there is still a long way to go.

Here's where we have stayed:
All Star Music
Grand Floridian
BoardWalk Inn
Wilderness Lodge
Polynesian
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Yacht Club
Beach Club
Pop Century
Old Key West
Dolphin
Port Orleans Riverside

So here's what we lack:
All Star Sports
All Star Movies
Port Orleans French Quarter
Caribbean Beach
Coronado Springs
Contemporary
Swan
Ft. Wilderness
Saratoga Springs
Beach Club Villas
BoardWalk Villas
Villas at Wilderness Lodge

This is our goal, too! :cheer2:

Much more fun than the 'lose 20 lbs by the Christmas party' one!

We do have an extra stipultation which, with school schedules, is proving difficult: trying the resorts as a family!
Too bad we didn't think of this goal years back, as we can't stay away from some of our faves, so have done multiple stays at the same resorts

We were going to stick on a Value to the end of our Nov/Dec trip--but the spectre of braving the POP Warner crowd is a little scary!
We still may suck it up & do ASM--it's only for one night!

Jean

Oh yes, us too!

Here's where we've stayed. If you want to get specific and call DVC add-ons different than the 'hotel' then here's our list:

All Star Music
All Star Sports
All Star Movies
Pop Century
Port Orleans French Quarter
Port Orleans Riverside (when it was Dixie Landings)
Coronado Springs
Fort Wilderness
Wilderness Lodge
Wilderness Lodge Villas
Boardwalk Villas
Swan
Yacht Club
Beach Club Villas
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Grand Floridian
Old Key West

We still have:
Boardwalk Inn
Beach Club
Animal Kingdom Villas (staying in October 2007!)
Saratoga Springs
Carribbean Beach
Contemporary
Polynesian
Dolphin

It is a goal of mine except there are 2 places that I have not desire to spend any time at. I will likely never stay at the Grand Floridian or Fort Wilderness. Being that we just started our family's Disney Obsession in 2005 (we have been 4 times since Dec 2005), we have only stayed at 3 resorts - Poly, OKW and POP. In Sept will will add POFQ. Next year we are thinking of doing a split between CBR and BWV. In 2008, we are going to splurge and do a split between CR (MK view) and either AKL or WL.

Here's a thought....if you can afford to do deluxe now, why not try a split stay at say, CBR/WL? Always start out at the less expensive one and end with the deluxe. Then your next trip, maybe CSR/AKL or something like that? That way you don't have to wait soooo long to try a deluxe. Most people on here that have stayed deluxe still enjoy the mod's too. I think it depends on the type of vacation you are looking for, how long it is, who's traveling together etc that determines which resort(s) are best for which trip.

my list is on the sig but here it is:

Wilderness Lodge
Wilderness Lodge Villas
Boardwalk Villas
Boardwalk Inn~ Deluxe Concierge & Steeplechase suite
Swan~ three bedroom suite
Yacht Club~Conceirge
Beach Club Villas
Beach Club~ watrer view & Concierge
Animal Kingdom Lodge.....this coming Dec.
Carribbean Beach
Contemporary
Polynesian~ Concierge

so other then the Carribbean Beach, I have not stayed at the other Moderates, or not one of the Values.

But when traveling, I will add each of those to my deluxe resorts, one..maybe two nights. It will depend. I do want to try the suites thou at the ALLstars!

Hey, that is a great idea! I think that's just what I'll do :) Next time would definitely be Port Orleans FQ and Wilderness Lodge :) I CANNOT believe I didn't think of that myself...:confused3

I knew there were other people out there, just like me.... :cheer2: :cheer2:
