Stateroom availability question

I am trying to book for summer 2021. The only rooms that are showing up online are portside. I remember reading here that DCL only shows certain rooms available in each category at a time, and they show portside availability first. Is it likely that I would be able to book starboard if I called? Or will they have the same availability on the phone that I do online?

Yes, you would be able to book starboard if you called, they have access to all the available rooms. (TA's are also able to do that.)

The online system shows 8 rooms/category/section of the ship, starting with the lowest room numbers, which are on the port side. Once there are fewer than 8 port rooms, it will start showing starboard rooms.

That is so good to know! I wondered why I could not change my stateroom from port to starboard on the website. (I called and changed it).
