Starting to shop for the WDW trip!!!

I am actually going to start my shopping for our trip in June this week. We all need new shoes, sandals, bathing suits, sundries. I personally like to buy a new sundress for the night out on the town with hubby one night while the kids are with the in-laws. I think shopping before hand is one the best parts to planning a trip to DW, it really makes you get excited about the whole trip.

I love ANY excuse to shop, but I am trying to buy a little every other week before our June trip!

So far, we've got DD's Disney Crocs, stuff to make the autograph book, transfer paper to print off customized designs from the lovely gals at the DISigns board, Bagallini Messenger bag, "small" surprises for the trip, DD's rain poncho, and I'm going to buy shirts at Hobby Lobby tomorrow (1/2 price this week).

Of course, this is our first trip too, but when you break it up over a few months, it's much easier than all at once, right?

We're leaving on Saturday! I just bought DS and I both Crocs and got my Baggalini in the mail yesterday! It is so cute. While DS was at a Build a Bear party today I bought a few things at the Gap (tank tops, 2 lightweight pullover hoodies, two pairs of long shorts), and will be getting DS shorts that fit at Old Navy this week. Also bought new bathing suits at Target last week.

Other than that we're pretty loose when we travel. This is our 5th trip and we're fairly go with the flow so I figure anything we need we can pickup there! I'm so excited :cool1: :goodvibes

I have started to shop for our April/May trip that is 7 weeks away. I hit JC Penneys to get clothes for my son, I am awaiting the Kohl's ad and hoping for 30% to get clothes for my daughter and husband. I am also planning on putting the suitcase out in the basement bedroom to start packing. I need to find the Tinkerbell gifts that I bought, and also hit the dollar store for a shoe holder for the bathroom door as we are staying for 11 nights and want to keep the bathroom stuff organized. Oh I cannot wait to go.

Thanks for the heads up! I will have to make a run over then next week. DH and I were looking at tshirts at Walmart yesterday. He finally told me he did not care what color shirts we had and walked off. :rotfl: He is very lucky we have a son or he would be wearing pink, since he does not care. princess:
I started buying stuff a few weeks ago for our July trip. I have been picking up glow sticks and Disney stuff at the dollar store and other cheap places as I find them. I found an aurora disney princess crown for DD for her to wear on her birthday lol. She will be 14 but just recently bought a Cinderella one and complained they did not have an Aurora. :goodvibes: I have also ordered some stuffed animals and pins off ebay for thier "suprise" boxes. I bought some small personal lime green fans at Walmart and we got our lgmh last week. I have been gradually putting them together. I have a bag from our last trip in our closet. I really need to concentrate on finding some boy things.

You have to ask for them, they are behind the counter. The staff let me choose between a combination of ones, fives and tens.

I have a disney bin from our past trips. I am having DH bring it from the garage so I can go through it to see what we need as we leave on 3/31!

Anyone know what tees hobby lobby carries?

So funny you started this thread. Yesterday DDs and I hit Target and Walmart spent a small fortune on things for our trip. Hope I didn't forget anything. Nearly brought home both stores so my guess is no. :rotfl2:

I have been buying things for several months - only problem is none of it is neccessaties!!! haha

Anyone know what tees hobby lobby carries?

I'm not sure of the brand mine carries, but it's a 50/50 blend, so great for ironing on those transfers. I have heard through the grapevine, that some Hobby Lobby stores carry Hanes and other brands, so maybe it varies by location?

Whoo-hoo! Add MY Crocs Athens to my previous list ... I've been looking everywhere for my size (but everyone was either sold out or they had Women's Size 12). But today was my lucky day! Amazon had them for $19.95 and w/ shipping, it was still under $25!

Look out World - I'll be highstepping in my lime green/magenta Crocs! :thumbsup2 :cool1: :rotfl:

I've been looking at the Payless stores for the pink Airwalk May Jane's and nobody had them. I was going to resort to ordering them online and paying for shipping, but the gal at the store said they could order them for me and have them sent to the store - no shipping! Yay! and if I don't like them they'll return them. Here they are - I'm so excited! Hope they're comfortable! http://www.payless.com/Catalog/prod...ns&SLC=WomensCasuals&BLC=WomensCasualsComfort
