I'm really not sure why though. We don't leave until Dec 22. I guess because when I first planned the trip, I was always reading this board and everything else I could get my hands on and then I ran out of stuf to read and work/family life got busy and I realized I haven't thought about the trip in weeks! So I had joined TGM and I have all this stuff printed that I need to read and I need to start coming up with a plan but I really don't know where to start. Any tips?

Thanks,
Jes

we leave dec 3rd and i know exactly what you mean...i was eating up all this info and breathing disney for like a month..now w/only 30 days to go there isnt much else to do...plus im getting nervous now and wondering if this was the best time to go(have 3 year old twins) :confused3

wow. must be an epidemic. i'm starting to feel a little nervous/overwhelmed as well. we leave on 12/12. I'm not sure exactly why either, perhaps because of (1) information overload, (2)being first timers to whole WDW experience, and (3)fact that i had to postpone our original trip I'm crossing my fingers everyday that everything goes smoothly for our Dec trip :thumbsup2

I'm sooo glad I'm not alone! We leave on 11/29. I'll be away all week next week for work, so I feel like I'm running out of time. I've never packed for 2 kids before. I'm also worried how they'll be on the plane. Really starting to feel panicked! Although I keep reminding myself that everything will be fine & come together just as it always does for everything else & that as long as I remember all the tickets, confirmation #'s & id's, we can buy anything I don't pack down there!

This will be our first trip and even though we have everything pretty much planed out I still feel like there is something I am missing. I want this to be the best vacation my wife has ever taken and I do not want to miss anything.

:cool1:

I'm with everyone else. We leave 12/7. I feel like I want to have everything planned out for the trip; where to go what days, what rides, EVERYTHING. But I think I got overwhelmed by all the info and just did nothing and now I'm starting to panic. I do have some ADRs made, but that's about it. DH and DD think we should just fly by the seat of our pants. I'm a book person. Can anyone recommend an easy to read book that doesn't go into a lot of detail?

i have fodor's wdw w/kids and i think its a pretty easy read. it is kinda of thick though cuz it includes sea world and the surrounding area but for just wdw info, i think it was great. i used that to plan to whole trip. good luck!

Hi Guys

OK...Big...Deep...Breath.....AAhhh :) You can do this!! TGM is great. I would start with the park charts that tell you what day to visit each park. Think of it like a puzzle and you are putting the pieces together. You must see Spectro and Wishes, so make sure there aren't any nights they aren't on. We went in May, and i'm planning again for Jan. Read all the TGM articles, too.

We can't control everything, so try to relax and Have FUN!!!

This is the thread for me! We leave Dec. 10th, for our first ever trip, and I've been planning this for a year and a half. I've read everything, but like the OP, I've been so busy lately that I took a break from it all. Now I have a month to go, lots to organize and pack, and I'm starting to stress! I know there are so many things I can't control, but I'm the planner of this trip for 7 people, and I'm worried!

Hi Everyone, don't worry about your upcoming trips, it is going to be the most wonderful time you can imagine. I went for the first time last year (Nov. '05), it was my honeymoon and I had so much going on with the wedding before hand, I was nervous as well.

But I have to say, once my DH and I arrived, it was seriously magic. The Magical Express handled the ride from the airport and the luggage, and check in wasn't a problem.

We did look at the park maps the night before and we just "winged it". It was a blast. :cloud9:

My advice would be to just go with the flow, don't plan out too much, just take one day at a time and you are going to love it. :wizard:

We had such a great time on our honeymoon we are going back this December for our first anniversary.

Good luck to all! You will feel like a kid!

POFQ - Dec. 06
AKL - Nov. 05

Am I allowed to ask this question? I'm basing what day to go to what park on the Unofficial Guides crowd calendar. Would TGM be different? And if so, who should I believe?
