Start online check in

If I start online check in now, can I do part (like my room request), and go back in later and do other sections (like adding CC for charges) it or is it one-and-done?
 
Along this same line...
If I do online check-in today (trip is in 11 days), can I make eventual changes to my reservation?
Specifically, I have 2 seperate reservations, both at CBR, one right after the other. I booked this way because at the original time of booking my first date was unavailable at CBR, so I booked at POR for one night and planned a split-stay.
A room became available at CBR for that first night and I booked it, cancelled POR.
The new room is a Preferred Room, the other nights are Standard. I am hoping to get all of one or all of the other upon check in.
Planning to ask our hotel check-in CM if they can combine the reservation.

So long story longer... Should I do the online check-in if I want to ask for adjustments to my room?

I have been trying to do online check in and get the loading logo, never loads. Has anyone else had that problem?

I'm not an expert by any means, but I think you should try to get this taken care of before you go. On another thread, someone explained that room assignments are done by schedulers a week or so in advance, not by the person at the front desk. It's a very complicated thing getting all those rooms filled for the right length of time without leaving orphaned rooms. Even if you had the same room category for both bookings, there's no guarantee you'd get to keep one room for the duration of the split stay. If you wait until arrival, there's a very good chance there won't be anything available in either category for the whole length of stay.

It's not one and done but you will have to enter a CC to even get started.
CC is one hard and fast rule regarding online check in. You can't do it without one.
You can do without everything else, arrival time, room requests, etc.
So that you can go back and edit or add later.
Can even add in ME info

Yeah, but only on the app. Have you tried on both the app and the website?
I know on the app, it looks as if I'm signed in but online check in won't work unless I sign in again. It's convoluted.
