Stars at WDW

Has anyone ever seen or heard of anybody famous at the parks while you were there?

There have been several star sightings at WDW. Here is the thread.

I personally got to see Aaron McCargo,Jr (food network), Carter Oisetenhouse (HGTV) and Karen McDuffy (model, old MTV VJ) on the castle lawn taping something this past winter (Feb). It was really neat to get to watch.

I don't know about "star", but I did see Mark May (from ESPN's college football coverage) headed to Test Track with his wife/girlfriend last year.

I've seen other stars taping stuff (ex. Samantha Brown) or whatever (e.g. CP at Epcot). But May was actually "doing" the park like an average guest.

My roommate last fall was working Spaceship Earth and had the Twilight trio come through while she was working. I've only saw Nick Canon while he was doing the x-mas parade stuff b/c I happened to have the day off and walked by.

YEEEAAAAARRRRSSSS Ago i saw/Met "Tag Team" (As in, "Whoomp! There it is!") in the basement of ToT. I don't remember exactly WHY I did it, but I had decided to do the chicken-out option when getting into the elevator instead of riding the ride. I ran into them in the holding area just before entering the elevator exit with a Disney CM escort. They were getting ready to board the elevator from the Exit to ride to ride.

Does DL count? I have spotted Jane Seymore, Steve Martin, Richard Thomas and Johnny Depp. At WDW I would swear on my life I saw Patrick Dempsey or his clone walking around with a blond woman and twins.

I almost ran face first into Stacey Dash at Epcot in '07. I didn't have much time to gawk since the fireworks were about to start, and there were bout a hundred people stampeding our direction.

I was on the bus sitting behind Aleisha Allen from "Are we there yet?" and "Are we done yet?". This was Tuesday of last week.

This one lady asked her if she would get a picture with her son and said she knows that they are on vacation and hates to ask. Aleisha was very happy to do it (the son had no idea who it was) and then Aleisha's mom said she would take a picture of Aleisha and the lady.

We had no idea of who it was.

I think it was last year and a lot of posters were posting pictures of Brittney Spears and her kids/kevin Federline/his new squeeze and the kids.

In 2009 we were there when Rob Blagojevich popped down. He mysteriously appeared the day his indictement was handed down. One of the TV stations had the "inside scoop" that he was at WDW and showed up at his resort (looked like SSR from the little you could see in the report) to ask him about it. The footage was taken around the pool area and his wife kept standing in front of the camera telling the reporter to leave them alone. All the while Rob was smiling and eventually spoke to the reporter. The whole thing was clearly staged to demonstrate he was not concerned about the charges he was going to face. He was gone as quickly as he arrived.

We saw the man from America's Funniest Homes Videos, Tom, I believe is his name...

Same day- we saw Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas as well as Alyson Stoner and Allstar Weekend.

Yes we went to the park that day specifically to see Demi and Joe.

We also went for the 2008 DC Games tapings and saw and met a lotttttt od Disney stars.

I wonder if they get special treatment or do they have to fast pass also?

At Disney's Playhouse we saw Kevin Federline, his girlfriend, and his and Britney's Kids.

At the Grand Floridian we saw Gelman (the producer from Regis and Kelly). Found out later they where doing a taping or something at WDW.

At DTD saw OJ.

At Gaylord Palms saw George Forman.

If DL counts I stood next to Josh Holloway outside the restrooms between Adventureland & Frontierland. This was summer 2006. He and his wife were touring like anyone and did not have an escort. He was wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses. Took the glasses off and I almost hyperventilated. The man is simply gorgeous.

Last year we were there when Tom Cruise and family were. Didn't see him though, as we went to DHS that day and he was at MK! Found out when we got home.

ALso, Mandy Moore was there once when I took my students about 6 billion years ago. I didn't see her but they did. I wouldn't have cared. Wait...maybe I DID see her, but din't care?

We were at Hollywood Studios about 10 years ago and we saw a stage set up. We waited around to see what was going on (there were only about 50 people in front of the stage) and they had a concert, it was Rascal Flats. At the time, we were like...."Who are they?"

About 10 years ago, while we waited for the Lion King show to start, a family came out from one of the side entrances and we realized it was Christopher Reeve. Everyone was taking pictures. We took one and although we felt bad for doing it because this was post-accident...we couldn't get over that this was Superman!
