Star Wars weekends?

I probably already know the answer to this but I'll ask anyway. We're going to be at WDW 9/27-10/4. Any chance there will be a Star Wars event while we're there? My DD10 would LOVE IT!

I highly doubt it, but there will still be Star Tours and plenty of Star Wars merchandise available.

Star Wars Weekends are held annually for 6-8 weeks beginning in Mid-May.

We went to the Star Wars weekends in May and had a blast. If you are a fan you will want to go. It was awesome getting pics with the characters - it was a cool atmosphere.

Nope, just the usual entertainment for any other time of the year.

You may well already know this, but Star Wars characters do appear daily in the Stars and Motor Cars parade. Unfortunately photo ops are rare (I've heard scattered stories of people seeing a Stormtrooper or Ewok near Star Tours, but those instances are rare.) Also, if you look across the road from Star Tours you will find a Speeder Bike from the films on which guests can pose for pictures.
