Star Wars Weekends extended..

A bit too close sometimes---a tusken raider put his face right in my DD's (6) face. She didn't like that much.

I was just thinking that my DD 9 would LOVE that!!

Well, hopefully we can catch some of this stuff. Although we won't arrive at MGM probably until 1:00 or so. We're flying in that morning. I'm also crossing my fingers that most people who made plans to specifically attend SWW will have already come and gone... so maybe we can still see some stuff!

Where do you go to get the Jedi Mickey picture? Any particular location, or is it catch as catch can?

DH and I were there yesterday and it was super crowded. The store was so mobbed you couldn't move let alone shop. Back by Indiana Jones there was another store set up selling SW stuff, but they were sold out of nearly everything. That said, we still had a really fun time and we go every year! Great news that it's been extended!

FASTPASS® tickets are required to receive an autograph. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all theFASTPASS® tickets are distributed for a particular actor, a limited number of standby tickets will be made available. Standby tickets do not guarantee an autograph. Standby ticket holders will be taken if there is time remaining in the session after allFASTPASS® ticket holders have received their autographs. Based on availability, you will have the opportunity to get one FASTPASS® and one standby ticket per celebrity. FASTPASS® tickets will be distributed at Star Tours. Each Guest must be present with their Theme Park admission ticket to receive aFASTPASS® ticket.

Behind the Force: The Saga Continues-- 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2:45pm, 6pm (ABC TV Theater)
A behind-the-scenes look documenting George Lucas and his creative team as they painstakingly produce all the spectacular movie magic of the latest installment in the Star Wars saga -- Episode III.

Jedi Training Academy presented by Hasbro -- 9:30am, 10:20am, 12:30pm, 1:20pm, 2:10pm, 3pm, 3:50pm, 4:40pm, 6:30pm (Star Tours Stage)
Lucky youngsters will be chosen at random to take part in the "Jedi Training Academy," giving Jedi hopefuls the chance to train with a Jedi Master and then test their skills with a lightsaber.

Padawan Mind Challenge-- 12pm and 6pm (Star Tours Stage)
Registration begins at the Information Desk at 9am
Use your Star Wars knowledge to pass the trails and become an official Padawan learner (for ages 11 and under).

Tattooine Trivia Trials-- Trials begin at 4pm (ABC TV Theater)

See if you have as much Star Wars trivia knowledge as a protocol droid (for ages 12 and up).

Jedi Mickey is only in one location---in the Sounds Dangerous building (so, obviously that show is shut down all day. ) And it is a Photopass location (some of the character photo ops weren't)....although, I'm a little annoyed because they seem to have lost *my* photo with Mickey, tho they did have the one with my kids with him. So, I'll be emailing to complain about that!

You can't buy it over the phone or any day other than the weekends. Believe me, I have tried. Luckily I found a fellow DISer who purchased things for me this past weekend or I am sure we would be completely out of luck.

Oh, wow, this kinda scares me, esp. that pic of the crowd!
We have the Fantasmic dinner pkg. reserved for Friday night, but we may just go first on Thursday morning to beat the crowds, then just have dinner on Friday and see the night show ... May the force be with all of you SW fans.

The only merchandise you may not have a chance to get are the limited edition stuff (pins and such) that are available from weekend to weekend and of course, those Darth Mickey dolls that have been sold out for weeks.
