Star Wars - The Force Awakens

I could be wrong, but it looks to me like the end scene with Han and Chewie is in the Millenium Falcon.

And yeah, I teared up watching it.

There is a scene on an ice planet of the New Order (referred to by placards on storm trooper models at Celebration) that looks just like Hilter surveying the breadth of his army and equipment from the stands over the airfields at Nuremburg. I got chills.

Oh and I want a BB8 toy!

I just hooked my laptop up to my TV to watch it on the big screen :D. I saw that Lupita Nyong'0 is listed as a cast member.

DD plays the French Horn, so when she heard the music to the new trailer which has a fabulous horn solo, she went nuts. I know, it's a musician thang. Most "normal" people probably wouldn't even know (or care) what instrument it is. But it does sound really good!

Here is another one for her :D

That's great too. When I saw "Air Force One" with my sister, I commented afterward about the great horn music, and she said, "What horn music?" She was more enthralled with Harrison Ford.

At the beginning of fourth grade, my daughter picked the French Horn as her instrument for band because of the main Star Wars theme. At the age of 15 (in 2012), when she got to play that piece in a five-county wide band directed by Col. Dennis Layendecker (ret.), she cried.

So, I totally get what you mean.

Can't wait for the new movie. Thanks for posting the trailer, I couldn't get it to load on facebook.

I saw this but I waited to watch until I could get home and watch it on the big HD screen tv and sound system.

Oh! I hadn't thought of hooking up my TV to watch it on a bigger HD screen. I just did that and watched several times. :teeth: And I got chills hearing Luke and squealed at seeing Han & Chewie! :woohoo:

The preview said it's coming out Christmas. :santa:

Vader's mask, though. Why is no one talking about Vader's mask? :darth:

I'm wondering about that mask. It's very interesting and puzzling all at once.

Yes, I wondered too, but Luke says, "My father has it." So Anakin is still around. So I'm not too worried. They must have made a new helmet for him.

Definitely. Home isn't Tattooine. It's the FALCON! :woohoo:

Now, if they can just keep Harrison Ford on the ground and away from flying rickety little planes, so he survives to Star Wars 9, we will all be fine. :thumbsup2 This is no time for him to be acting like Han/Indiana Jones in real life. :headache:

Just, just take all of my money all over again.

Thank God that J.J. Abrams is directing this :worship: :worship: :worship: and NOT George Lucas, who ruined the prequel. :badpc: If Abrams handles this anything like what he did with the reboot of Star Trek, we are in for a great Star Wars VII. :worship:

I'm just wondering why they'd make a new helmet, when Anakin's/Vader's body disappeared after he died?
I DO remember that Luke burned Anakin's/Vader's armor at the end of Return of the Jedi though.

Either they were able to bring him back in a corporeal form again, with a new helmet. Or Luke just rummaged around in the ashes after burning his father and took it as a memento? Kind of a weird thing to keep. I would have thought his light saber would have been enough over a charred, misshapen helmet. :crazy2:

Maybe it's a flashback memory to when Luke took the helmet out of the ashes?
