Star Wars - The Force Awakens

Either they were able to bring him back in a corporeal form again, with a new helmet. Or Luke just rummaged around in the ashes after burning his father and took it as a memento? Kind of a weird thing to keep. I would have thought his light saber would have been enough over a charred, misshapen helmet. :crazy2:

Maybe it's a flashback memory to when Luke took the helmet out of the ashes?

Luke is repeating his lines from Return of the Jedi. It does not mean Anakin is still around. If he was he would be a Force ghost.

Yes, I wondered too, but Luke says, "My father has it." So Anakin is still around. So I'm not too worried. They must have made a new helmet for him.

Definitely. Home isn't Tattooine. It's the FALCON! :woohoo:

Now, if they can just keep Harrison Ford on the ground and away from flying rickety little planes, so he survives to Star Wars 9, we will all be fine. :thumbsup2 This is no time for him to be acting like Han/Indiana Jones in real life. :headache:

Thank God that J.J. Abrams is directing this :worship: :worship: :worship: and NOT George Lucas, who ruined the prequel. :badpc: If Abrams handles this anything like what he did with the reboot of Star Trek, we are in for a great Star Wars VII. :worship:

They showed the ghost form of Anakin at the end of Return of the Jedi and even edited that part after I, II and III were released. How would they explain that if Anakin/Vadar were still alive??

I agree. The ghosts of the Jedi (we saw Yoda, Kenobi, and Anakin) I can see someone saying are still around.

However, IIRC, when Luke burned Anakin's body at the end of ROTJ, the armor was on, but not the helmet, right? The last time we saw the helmet was when Luke took it off in the Death Star before getting on the shuttle.

Nope, helmet was on. Explains the condition of the helmet.

DD plays the French Horn, so when she heard the music to the new trailer which has a fabulous horn solo, she went nuts. I know, it's a musician thang. Most "normal" people probably wouldn't even know (or care) what instrument it is. But it does sound really good!

I am so glad that John Williams returned and is doing the score for this movie! :thumbsup2
I have the original Star Wars soundtrack, the two record vinyl album. Though the sound quality is not that great because of repeated playings, lol
A few years ago I was able to see Star Wars in concert with the Cincinnati Pops and Anthony Daniels narrating. It..was..awesome! :goodvibes:thumbsup2

DH took me to see Star Wars in Concert some years ago for my birthday, here in CT. I think it was the best concert I've ever been to! We got a kick out of a guy - well, could have been a girl - who came in through the door in our section, wearing a movie-quality replica Darth Vader costume and carrying a lightsaber. I swear, our whole section went quiet as he stood there surveying us for a minute, then went over to an usher, handed over his ticket, and was escorted to his seat.

We also have an annual tradition with DH's family - we all go to Tanglewood in Lenox, MA when John Williams conducts Film Night. I love how the lightsabers come out (at least among the audience on the lawn) when he does the Star Wars theme!

See-I thought someone wishing to revive dark side of force was holding that helmet...maybe an unknown offspring?...
