Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Attractions Planning

I can't even handle this ride description (warning, spoilers!!)

The entire Rise of the Resistance experience is going to be 28 minutes. 28 MINUTES!! With more than 300 animatronic elements.

I'm...it's...I....mind blown.
The article isn't 100% accurate but the gist is there. It will be a lengthy experience. One pre show element is bound to be very interesting.

Anybody have a guess about ride heights? Obviously I know it's just a guess, I'm just curious to see what people think and how far away my youngest is...it just dawned on me he might be too short. LOL

40” is the prediction for rise of the resistance. Falcon is unclear but I’m speculating anywhere between 40-46”

What do you think fastpass availability will be like at the 60 day out mark at WDW? What day into someone’s trip
do you think there will be fastpasses? We are going end of Jan -beginning of Feb for 12 days. I’m just curious if I’ll be able to even have a chance at 4 fastpasses on our trip or if they will all be gone?

Are you staying on site for a decent length of time? The 60+length of resort stay crowd are going to eat those FPs right up. If you are staying onsite make your GE day you last park day to maximize the chance of open FPs.

Yes...we are onsite all 12 days. I’m planning to make my fastpasses for SWGE on days 11 and 12...I’m just curious if there will even be any left on 60+11/12 with it’s popularity

I think your chances will be excellent! I don’t know many families that plan 11 and 12 day trips. FWIW, my family was able to get FOP on day 1 of our last trip (so at 60 days)

Um, pretty good odds there! I can't see why there wouldn't be any fp's left at 60+11. I'm sure I'm not the only one here that's super jealous of your 12 day stay :)

If I had to guess, I'd say fp's will be hard to get starting at 60+6 or 6-+7 when it first opens, then calm down to about 60+4 after a year. Just basing that on what happened with FOP, and knowing SWGE will be an even tougher fp to get.

I am curious, though, as to which ride is going to be the harder fp to obtain. A few months ago I would have said Smuggler's Run. But, after all of the details coming out about Rise of the Resistance, it might be the tougher one to get. Of course, all of this will depend on how they do tiering or if fp's will be available to purchase, etc.

Thanks for the information! Now I’ll just have to see if it all gets messed up since I have a split stay on rented points
