Does anyone know if this is a temporary show at Hollywood Studios? We are planning a trip the end of September and it doesn't appear on the calendar. I'm thinking maybe they won't be having the show anymore after the summer.

I think it is running year round. They seem to run it a few days a week. Not a nightly show.

It's not temporary and it'll be there in September. If you dont see a show, hours, etc and you're looking more than 2 months out, you're looking to far

Can anyone give an estimated guess on the time it would be in the fall. The park hours show HS closing at 8 with F! at 8. Would the fireworks be before Fantasmic or during? We are trying to map out dinner ADR's with nightime shows. I'm thinking we would require 2 nights to see both shows as it would be hard to catch both on the same night? It is important we catch it this time as our last trip JBJB replaced the star wars show and my DS was really disappointed. He is a huge scifi fan both SW and Star Trek.

I don't have answers but I can share that what I'm doing is only having an ADR for lunch and do QS for dinner so that we can be flexible. Or you can always book dinner and cancel/change if necessary once the schedule is posted.

But is it possible to see both on one night?
We have seen Fantasmic multiple times at Disneyland, Tokyo and last visit to WDW.
If we sit up the back at Fantasmic?

But is it possible to see both on one night?

Sometimes yes, but on many nights, no.
They are often purposely scheduled in a way that won't allow both to be seen on the same night.

I didn't get any feedback on the SW thread, so thought I'd try here. Beginning the week I'm there (the last of week of June), F! will be at 9:00, but SWaGS will be at 10:00 (instead of the usual 9:30) -- I'm sure the schedule change is in anticipation of TSL opening later that week. I was initially planning on going to F! and SWaGS on separate nights, but now I'm thinking I have a chance to see them both on the same night. But the question is if I'll get a decent viewing area for SWaGS...we can sit at the top right of the amphitheater for a quicker escape, but any other tips?

So Fantasmic and the Star Wars show were held at the same time?

Unlike at Epcot (and IllumiNations,) Fantasmic! does not always happen at DHS "closing time."

An important thing to know is that the current schedule for events and closing times this far in advance are
very likely to change.
Expect updates to within 14 days in advance of the actual dates.
(And, sometimes as late as "day-of.")

1. we can sit at the top right of the amphitheater for a quicker escape, but
2. any other tips?
1. Yup.
2. Not if you want to see ALL of Fantasmic!

It is a long way from the F! theater to the Chinese Theater.

Does SWAGS keep running in December? I may be mistaken, but I thought another show replaced it during the holiday season last year.

EDIT:
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM did run in 2017 in place of SWAGS from about the second week in November thru December 14, then both Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM -and- SWAGS ran nightly starting December 15 thru the end of December.

Actually SWAGS returned Dec. 15th, so from that date until Dec 31st you had both SWAGS and JBJB.
