Are the Star wars Fireworks going to continue at DHS? or are they already over?

What's the consensus on how long the new version will stick around? Summer Only?

Their present form is scheduled thru 4/30 with improvements due for the summer. I asked guest services whether I could expect them for Mother's Day, 5/8, and was told that they weren't presently scheduled for that night but that I should keep an eye out for new announcements.

I really hope that there's minimal downtime to install the new projection system, or that the downtime is some time when I'm NOT there. The show is already the most impressive fireworks on property, even better than Wishes at MK. Projections onto the Chinese Theater will only further enhance the show.

Are they typically done every night or just on certain nights? We will be there mid June and would like to see them, but not going to rearrange my schedule if they are only on certain nights.

Nightly. Unless of course a party falls on the day or special event closes the park early

May 27th is the rumored start date for the new fireworks. It's not confirmed though.

Ok I new I saw that somewhere thank you!! I will be keeping my fingers and toes crossed it premiers on time!! I don't know which is more unlikely for that start date SW Fireworks, Froway or ROL :confused3

June 3rd has been posted on the Rumors and News board within the last few days.

We just saw them Saturday night...very cool!! I think it's definitely something to see at least once even if you're not a huge SW fan cause it's so well done.

We stood right up in the front open area so it was very up close & loud. I felt bad for some little kids...I think the music & volume level that close up made it too intense for them & they lost it crying/sobbing. They were so cute in their little Star Wars outfits though!

I hope they continue a form of Dessert party for those of us that like to throw money Disney's way for such.

We were waiting/watched across from the party area. It didn't appear to be very crowded. I saw people milling around & standing at tables, but the area wasn't FULL. I wasn't bold enough to go see what the food/drinks looked like.

We arrive May 22 to June 4. We are hoping to see them. We plan on getting AP's as we will be back in October so hopefully if they show them and we are not planning on being in the park that day we can hop over.

I sure hope the June 3rd/June 5th rumor isn't true. :( We are taking our niece and nephew for their first trip. They are huge Star Wars fans and June 4th is our scheduled day at DHS. Of course we have a hard to get ADR for 6 at Sci Fi that day and no park hoppers. We definitely want to see the fireworks, but really don't want to change our park plans. Any idea when we can expect to hear an official announcement?

Its been awhile since we have been there. Are the fireworks in place of Fantasmic, or do both happen nightly? We will be going in October.
