The cruise we are considering because of the date happens to be Star Wars themed. Are there regular movies in Buena Vista Theater, or are Star Wars Movies shown exclusively?

The Star Wars stuff is really just one day of the cruise - which is why it's called "Star Wars Day at Sea". That day, the BV Theater will probably show all the films sequentially, non-stop.

Other than some props and photo ops in the atrium, the other days are "normal" cruise days with a "normal" rotation in the theaters.

Great answer! I would like to see the SW movies. That would be perfect! DH would be happy that it’s a particular DAY, not the whole week.
Thank you!

Everything will be SW themed on that day. We've done 2 SW cruises with another booked for next year. I'm not a SW fan, so I never go to any movies on that day since that's all they show. One thing I didn't like is that they didn't do Anyone Can Cook on the SW day, so if you enjoy going to those, know there won't be any on that day, unless they change it from previous years.

I do like the Anyone Can Cook! Still, if it’s done once on the 7 night cruise I will be happy.

Are the fireworks accompanied by SW music?

You will still have new movies. Not Star Wars day at sea though. That will be all SW in the theater.

If you do an Eastern cruise, you'll have one more sea day than the Western, so you'd get 2 days for Anyone Can Cook. We did a WC in 2017 and our 2020 is also going to be a WC. We did an EC earlier year, which I liked better since it gave us that extra non SW sea day. I didn't go to the SW deck show on either of our previos cruises. My dh did though and yes the fireworks are done to SW music. Actually, you will hear SW music throughout the ship that day, in the elevators, cabin hallways. If you book it, you'll have a lot of fun.

Ooh, I had actually forgotten that the Western only has the one sea day. That settles it for sure. I’ll be doing the Magic in Feb. I can at least tolerate Marvel - and I have 2 sea days.

Yes, on SWDAS they do a whole show of "take back the ship" with the music geared towards that theme and the fireworks follow, also done with Star Wars music.
