Our DD4 loves the Stars Wars movie and I know she would get a kick out of Star Tours. Have any of you taken your young 4 year olds on this ride and how did they do?? Is she too young you think??? Thanks!!

We went this summer with our kids. One was 4 at the time. She absolutely loved it, (along with the rest of the family). She should be just fine. Have fun!

DS4 LOVED this ride. We rode it over and over for him. He said it was SOOOOO cool. ::MickeyMo

DD now 14 never had a problem with it, but it really depends on the individual. Some adults think its a little too jumpy for them

our 4 year old rode Star Tours last week--she's a young 4 (turned 4 on the trip, LOL) and she LOVED it!

It's a great ride that can be fun for all ages -- our youngest loved it when he was 5 and still does. It is bouncy-jerky, but that has somewhat less effect on small people than on big people.

It is based on the very first Star Wars movie, now called Episode IV: A New Hope. Your daughter may enjoy the ride even more if she has seen the DVD, especially the part at the end where the Death Star is destroyed.

For adults and kids not prone to car-ocean-motion sickness :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: , it is fine.

I personally have to carry a just-in-case barfbag when i ride it :earboy2:

Ive never had a problem with this ride. DD was 4 when she rode it for the first time and LOVED it. It scared her a bit the first time and she came off whimpering, but she said "I want to go on it again!" so we did. We all love this ride. :dog:

My DS did it his first time at 4.5 & loved it. He was already a Star Wars fanatic by then. He still loves it now that he's 17.

Last trip, we rode with a rather timid just turned 5 yo boy. He was very nervous about trying it, but wanted to do it badly. My DS talked to him & told him a little bit of how it was to ease his fears. After the ride, my DS asked the boy how he liked it & the kid busted out in the HUGEST grin & told his Dad they HAD to do it again NOW! It was adorable.

If you are worried about the bumpiness, I think that there is a row that can be requested that doesn't jerk you around as much. Not sure which row though...anyone? :sunny:

My DS was 3.5 when he rode it in May and loved it. We did keep an arm around him but don't think it was necessary but made us feel like he wasn't getting jerked around as much.

He also received a great keepsake from the CM - a card stating it was his first ride and a place to fill in the date.
