Whew! We're scheduled for MGM on Aug. 3! This is one of my dh's favorites, and my dd is finally tall enough to ride this trip!

We will be there from July 11-15. I'm so glad we will be able to make it. I haven't done this ride before, and like Kristen's Mommy my son is finally tall enough to ride it.

MAN! My six year old has finally developed the courage to ride it and has been talking about it nonstop! SHOOT! At least I can let her know before we walked up to ride it. Thanks for the heads up.

I saw it posted to the official site about a month and a half to two months ago. But it was only there a short time. I'd looked at the site around 11a and it wasn't there. At 11:30 it was posted. I looked again a few minutes later and it was gone. But since we're less than 2 weeks away from the briefly posted closing and it still has not been reposted to the official site, I'm doubting that it will be closed.

Yikes! Right in the middle of our trip! While the family will be "bummed", it could be worse - like shutting down RNR or TOT! Thanks for the head's up!

For what it's worth ... Star Tours rehab is NOT listed on the Disney Cast Portal, which is where CMs get info on things like rehabs, refurbishments, and attraction openings and closings.

Arent they going to base Star Tours on the newley released episodes. That is what I heard. More of an Episode 1 and 2 feel. Anyone else hear that?

Mouseplanet.com has a blurb today that the Star Tours rehab is now off the schedule. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Nickunited: Those rumors have been floating around at least since all of the Ep. 1 hype was in full-gear. What's that been--5 or 6 years now??? Most people have given up waiting. If it happens, it happens.

I seem to recall one of the 'hot' rumors being that it would be reimagined as more of a "Pod Race" simulator. But I'm sure there are others who could take you through those rumors in much greater detail.
