Stand. studio first night, move to BW view 1 bdrm??

I don't want to worry about having to bank, or worse lose, 20 pts. So, I thought I would add a night to the start of our Aug '07 stay. We are looking at BWV Mon-Fri in a 1 bdrm BW view, and adding a stand. studio for Sunday night. Is this doable?? I have to call Wed to reserve the 1st night....will it be a pain to tie the two reservations together? Or will they just leave them as two different ones? Anyone see any issue with doing it this way?? Thanks.

Since you have two different room types, you will have two separate reservations. It's not like you are moving from a one bedroom to a two bedroom where you wanted to keep the same one bedroom part.

Sounds similar to a BWV trip we had a few years ago. Our first few nights were in a studio and the last few were in a 1BR. The one thing that you should know is that you will officially be roomless between check-out and check-in. You'll need to check your bags and then have them delivered to the new room after you check-in. Overall, it's a minor inconvenience relative to having more time in WDW.

See, this is why I love my DIS family so much!! I hadn't thought about that in the least. That will make a huge difference to my dh....I think that I will just 'suck it up' and borrow 13 pts from '08, and just stay in the darn 1 bdrm bw view for the whole time. I just knew there was never going to be a situation where I had too many points at the end of my UY!! Thanks for the insights guys!
